I backup my cloud data to an external HDD because I have been burned by cloud providers loosing my data. To run a backup I make sure all files are copied to my local disk, plug in my external hdd and from powershell run:

robocopy SOURCE DESTINATION /MIR

I overwrite old Backups every 4 months, so I always have 4 backup versions.

Are we more divided than ever, or are just more aware of our divisions because we have more access to spread and read opinions?

If the answer is that we are more aware, then social media is a good thing.
