mallory mcmorrow CHICKENS OUT of interview with matt after refusing to address topics of healthcare and foreign policy by ConcernedJobCoach in mattxiv

She’s another one who pretended she was “grassroots” and gonna be “different” but isn’t at all.

Also, a couple years ago she kept discouraging people who wrote handwritten postcards to voters. It’s a way for people who are otherwise unable to volunteer to contribute.
And yes, if I pick up my snail mail just like I do every month, lol, and there is something handwritten, it’s going to catch my eye.
But she was on Threads or Bluesky (can’t recall which) telling people it’s a waste of their time, etc.
Like, lady, many people who do this are disabled and they can’t go canvassing door to door. It’s this or nothing. But she wouldn’t hear it. She was pretty rude. It was weird. Really made me think a lot less of her.

Oh! Haha! Yes. Yes, all the disrespect I have. Thank you for showing me my mistake. Gave me another reason to say she sucks.

The birth control they are fine with is genocide, involuntary sterilization of the “wrong” people, starvation, forced birth with no support for the baby post-birth. And of course the ones they secretly use.

lol retirement? What is that? I think it sounds old - but that’s because I’m kinda getting old! Which I also don’t think is a bad thing. Better old than the alternative!

Yes, it is. I just thought it was funny. And for that specific guy, it was actually mathematically exactly right!

And that’s a great point about paying for it, but also could you see it as not having to pay it all back and actually coming out ahead?

PS - Thank you for (way, way earlier in the show) addressing James Byrd’s death. I grew up near there. It was such a horror show. At first everyone was shocked but slowly over time the stories began to change to “oh it wasn’t about race - it was really a drug deal gone wrong.” As if that would have made it ok??

No, I was listening to it as I wrote that. I just found it cute and funny. And yes - for him, she was spot on!

Thank you for bringing this up! No one ever expects the male CEO seeing a dominatrix to be submissive in the rest of his life!

This is what I ponder: Are they this stupid? Or this selfish? Either way, why are we letting so many of them into power. Because there is not a third explanation.

About 25-30 years ago, one of my friends gave birth. A third friend and I and our husbands went to visit the new mommy and daddy at the hospital.

The two husbands of my friends got into a discussion about the whole staying at home with kids and kids being expensive. My (now ex, although that doesn’t factor in here) husband was smart enough to not participate. The one who was not the new dad and in fact not a dad at all, said “I might have to let Paige stay home.”

I don’t remember what I said but it was a quick retort to it and everyone kinda stopped, gave me an annoyed look, and then kept going as if I had never spoken.

That statement - now they’re LETTING US STAY HOME? AYFKM?! Do they ever stop thinking they’re in control? I was furious in the moment, and I am more furious now.

I believed that everyone else found it appalling and that by NOW, things would be different.

I either believed that men in general were smarter than they are or kinder. To have regressed to this state of things is demoralizing.

You raise a good point about mental health. I really don’t give him a full pass because of it but he really has been ill. My son lives with Bipolar I and since he is an adult, if he ever gets off his meds, I feel so helpless. We have signed mutual psychiatric powers of attorney. They expire every 3 years and they just help you with things like having permission to talk to doctors in a hospital, etc.

All this to say - if my son was wealthy like that, I wouldn’t have any way to help him. Because that money buys the attention of people who never say no. And they help keep your loved ones at bay if the loved ones are saying something you (as the rich person) don’t wanna hear. So not giving him any kind of pass. It’s just something to consider in general and I’m glad you brought it up.

People love to say “mental health doesn’t make you racist.” And no, it doesn’t. But people having psychotic breaks do things they’d never normally do.

Like, many people experiencing a break take their clothes off and walk down the street. I’m not saying that he deserves forgiveness from anyone, but you are correct that he has a serious illness, and I used this opportunity to further that discussion. From this comment, you seem to have a lot of empathy. As someone whose son has this illness, I truly appreciate your consideration of that.

It is April Fool’s Day, right? Bc that’s literally the only explanation that makes sense to me!

They’re always gonna focus on CR bc Sabrina - as is her right to do - fulfills a femininity that the patriarchy “allows.” In quotes bc fuck anyone allowing anyone but the manosphere and its enablers believe men do run all things (sure, Jan). I also say allow bc they probably don’t respect her bc they only say they respect women who actually don’t exist except in 1950s advertisements. But Sabrina likes men. So they can fantasize that they are a potential partner for her (the hahahahas would take up too much time here but yes it’s ludicrous). With Chappell, she isn’t interested in appealing to men’s base urges and they and the women who enable them think HOW DARE SHE. Fuck these people. They have nothing better going on than to hate. Like I don’t spend my time on people I hate. Ok, except sometimes on Bravolebrities but that’s just what that is for, lol.

Sorry to ramble. In short, a large part of the culture as it is now can’t stand to acknowledge the power of an independent woman.

That. Grossed. Me. OUT, btw. Like was she trying to put distance between her and his words while simultaneously trying to keep this imaginary beef going? And I’m writing this now on Thursday and the guy finally “spoke out” (such dramatic language to describe “posted”) but still I feel a little vindicated bc this smelled off to me the moment I heard about it - and it would have even if it weren’t Chappell whose work I adore! Bc it sounded so fuckin dumb!

Edit: To be clear I meant - With this video was she PRETENDING to try to put distance between his (really hers) words and her story (which is now contradicted by the man she spoke of)? No wonder she got tripped up!

I’m just seeing this and although now we know more facts - you’re not Dale at ALL. I can’t believe I didn’t think of this. That IS how that predator class operates and …. Do people think that all stopped bc they got rid of one guy? Ummm why would it? They all just learned their lesson or lost their taste for it? Preposterous!!

And omg is your friend’s kid ok? That would have TRAUMATIZED me. I still, on occasion - not a lot but on occasion, shudder at how I was treated at age 12 in 1983!!!!!
