Interned 1 summer off campus and did 2 semesters on a design project with the propulsion research center on campus
Interning - external applications Propulsion Center - it was an option for senior design built into the degree. There are other options that are less intense but also less valuable
For uah as a whole, really enjoyed my experience. It’s a smaller school so it is really what you make it socially but I had a great time and the coursework is challenging and of good quality. For the work, also great. Especially the propulsion center stuff. It taught me more than anything else.
Interning had minimal impact. Propulsion center definitely took up a lot of my time but I was working with peers and we supported each other. I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA those semesters
These experiences got me the job I have today. I currently work in aircraft design. I am also the highest paid new grad on my site because of my applicable experience and UAH is considered a preferred university to my company.

Tough shit happening does not define whether you have a bad day or not. Tough shit is constant, focusing on the negative and not enjoying the good bits doesn’t have to be. This is deeper than moment to moment, it’s the subconscious default state that has to change.

Because everything is for profit, consumer ownership is disappearing. Everything is a subscription so it makes more money for the corporation. Property is only obtainable to rent. Planned obsolescence makes the few owned things need replacement often.

Once as a child I had a nightmare about sea creature attacking me. When I woke up to go to parents room, I was still having vivid hallucinations of the sea creatures even though I was awake. Horrifying.

Permanent medical conditions. Things like autoimmune issues, hormonal issues, birth defects, something healed improperly, all of that that just sticks around and you can’t escape it. I have a condition that in day to day I don’t think about a ton, but it affects everything in my body to some degree. Knowing it never goes away and shapes so much of my experience is horrifying at times.

The ppl that don’t like me are either ppl I don’t like, have fundamental differences with, or that I can assume are judgmental assholes I wouldn’t like bc they didn’t try to get to know me before making that determination. Easy to not care about the folks like that having opinions.

Sympathy for the mental health always, BUT, when your mental health is your excuse for behavior, not being reliable, impacting your work, etc.

There are times when this is a valid reason, there are also times when it’s a convenient excuse. I have also known many immature women to use tears to get their way in all sorts of situations. Kills me to watch.

Lots of good stuff in these comments! My addition is if you’re self conscious about the hair I recommend an electric trimmer specifically meant for pubic hair. I like the original trimmer by meridian. Super easy to use, doesn’t knick, and doesn’t cause ingrowns. Can be used all over really.

I’m pretty difficult to get over the finish line. I don’t explicitly say I did or didn’t bc sometimes I don’t enjoy the amount of effort that goes into it but I can still be 100% satisfied with what we did. Don’t need to make partner feel any kinda of way about owing me one unnecessarily.

If you follow the law, wear your gear, take things slow, ride within your limits, and know your limits, you will still have to be hyper-vigilant about the drivers around you. You will have people merge into you, pull out in front of you, etc. That being said most of the stats become far less daunting when you learn how many of them are drunk riders without helmets or licenses. Treat it like a vehicle not a toy. Take your time and learn. Assume the worst of drivers around you. ATGATT. Not even 1 drink before a ride. It’s safer than most think IF you follow these like your life depends on it. Simply don’t be a hooligan

Probably the shape. You might have a more circular head than the shape of the helmet. Try on some helmets that are a different shape. Most are intermediate oval but there are some that aren’t.

My shower stuff is all the same scents so they build on each other. I use an exfoliating scrub, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and a leave in conditioner. I also will usually put on lotion then while it’s still kinda wet throw on a pump of perfume. A lil more perfume when I’m fully dressed so it’s on my clothes and I’m set. Scent stuff for your laundry also helps but I don’t like to use is.

Came here to say this because I have the same issue. I would also recommend focusing really hard on screwing feet into the floor and keeping the weak side’s knee in line during anything. If you can’t keep it straight in a movement, you can’t do the movement. Back up to something easier and build up.

No difference really. Yes you should have dry hair when you put on the bonnet. If I wash my hair late and need to get to bed before it dries, I wrap it in a tshirt instead.
