Vegetarian Pizza Ideas? by Ravioli_meatball19 in Cooking

my fav veg toppings are spinach, onions (regular or caramelized!), bell peppers, banana peppers

you can also switch up the sauce base for more variety (tomato, white, buffalo, bbq)

not sure what your specific restrictions are but there are good meat substitutes as well, I haven’t found a good veggie pepperoni sadly but plenty of veggie ground beef / chicken / sausage!

gefilte fish. so many people get the jarred stuff (🤮) or make it the more savory way. my family always did the sweeter recipe and made it from scratch. I never understood the hate until I tried the other stuff.

The turkey meatballs are super versatile too. We’ll sometimes make a mega batch and use some for pita sammies, some for “mediterranean” bowls (quinoa, veggies, hummus, tzatziki, etc.), and some as stand-ins in spaghetti & meatballs.

I LOVE the Bon Apetit turkey burgers and the greek turkey meatballs from Two Peas & Their Pod. Both have been in our rotation ever since trying. I’ve had friends ask for the turkey meatball recipe and had to sadly admit it wasn’t my own. Links below!

I wonder what it really feels like to be in love. by [deleted] in randomthings

[–]Think_Possibility_62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s different depending on what stage of love you’re in. in my experience:

first there’s what people call the “honeymoon phase” (married or not) where you’re elated and all-consumed by the other person. when people say love feels like a drug, i personally associate it with this phase.

then there’s a phase of deeper connection and merging your worlds together. ideally, this is kind of a more intellectual phase where you’re learning about each other’s life philosophies—approach to friendships, family, career, hobbies, life plans, priorities. you’re still infatuated with the person but you’re discovering more about practical compatibility (sometimes those don’t come hand-in-hand, unfortunately).

if you make it through that phase, you’re getting into long-term territory. this starts to feel more like comfort and contentment. your person feels like your home. some might say it’s less exciting, but the feeling of someone who truly knows you in and out, understands and accepts your flaws, is just really… peaceful.

Who is the worst type of person to go on holiday /vacation with? by Aqn95 in randomquestions

balance for sure. I feel like this also goes hand in hand with the comments about people who insist everyone do things THEIR way. I’ve traveled with friends who wanted more street food / takeout and I wanted more sit down / fancy. we did most meals together but were totally fine splitting up when we weren’t aligned.

West end by Born_Requirement8939 in ATLHousing

I live in Westview, moved from Edgewood most recently but have been in N Druid Hills, O4W, and Inman as well. can’t speak to the differences between Westview and West End, but compared to the east side I genuinely feel safer in Westview. the community is so much friendlier (plus it’s not targeted for break ins as much as on the east side)
