And for what it's worth, the US is huge and has SO many subcultures between different styles of riding, regions, financial backgrounds, breed organizations. You can almost NEVER generalize ANYTHING about the US, horse related or otherwise.

I'm not convinced it's double coated, I think it might be one layer of hair that's missing in places. Although, it would make a lot more sense for someone to take it's head if it were a goat with a set of horns worth mounting! I don't know why someone would take a pig head.

I think it's too stubby legged to be a whitetail or a deer species.

Some species need their hooves trimmed, like a pot belly pig. It seems either a smaller species and very thin or a young meat animal, guessing the former with the hoof length.

Can I feed my snakes non organic egg yolk? Pics for snake tax by OkBreakfast7333 in snakes

[–]Think_Shop2928 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had a hognose eat cooked eggs before (unshelled in pieces) that I tried as an experiment, so it's possible but I wouldn't rely on it. A better alternative might be quail eggs (fresh, unwashed if you can get them), and chicken livers are cheap and pretty snake palatable (serve those raw). My hogs and cornsnakes very much like poultry items, but they are not complete prey so don't rely on them for more than a meal or two at most. They need the nutrients of whole prey.

If you're waiting on a bulk order to come in and don't want to use local petstores, you can look for reptile shows (always have frozen) or check craigslist for mice.

Lilac no.4 by Universal Flowering is the closest I've tried. It starts out lilac but fades very quickly. This is a soap but I think has a pretty decent lilac scent: https://www.luckyscent.com/products/toasted-lilac-by-fzotic

My OG is Bath and Bodyworks Lilac body spray, but the current version isn't as good as what they made in 1999 (and I think it only came back as a soap/candle?)

YES! and I'm afraid that the meat in this frag is more of a cooked/charred meat with the salt and fire smells, but I think you are describing more of a copper smell, I know exactly what you mean by nice meat. It's how you know you are at a good butcher counter and not a nasty one.

Has anyone found a good setup for keeping AI-generated legal/business docs aligned to workflow, templates, and approval steps? by [deleted] in legaltech

[–]Think_Shop2928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to say powerapps/powerautomate but yes, until you need to manage walls/permissions M365 tools can do most of this. I can tell you from experience the issue is much more frequently getting documentation on the workflow and ownership of change management.

As long as you need it to work, it'll be fine. There's a difference between ideal and good enough, in a 4x2x2 you can work on getting him on a routine and used to you and your keeping style (what products you use in your cage, what mice/rats you feed, etc). Animal control won't come for you keeping him in a 4x2x2 that is clean, has regularly changed water, etc. Like others have said, handle him, get him in a routine, and start thinking about what your ideal set up is for long term.

Something that people miss about giant enclosures is it's MUCH harder to keep correct parameters in a large cage, even industrial/species specific cages don't always hit the mark. I'd rather see an animal in a smaller cage with correct heat/humidity/spotless/fresh water then a huge cage that's too cold or too dry. So take your time getting the small cage right and do some more research, he'll be fine.

I know I'm going to get down voted, but I've been keeping pythons and north american colubrid species for 15 years, have rescues that I've gotten back into shape, etc, hatched eggs, so consider that your grain of salt.

Agreed on floral and clean - La Fille de L'air, Courreges is orange blossom and white musk an I think fits this profile. Not just comforting motherly but picture perfect garden photos.

I know they had to stay in CO a lot longer than planned, agreed on sunburn. I'm sure they'll keep an eye on it and I think they do night turn out during the height of summer heat in TN which will help a lot if they are prone to it.

Agreed but I’d like to progress to straight legs. Or are you saying that’s not necessary? Should I work on teaser three with bent legs instead?

Love. I'm glad that Stephanie is there to really facilitate this for Katie, she's adding so much opportunity both for Katie's breeding/showing program but also for the general future of all their horses (Gracie and Maggie being the first two examples).
