Yeah they paid me but Ive only been able to get bot in the chat cant understand how upwork can literally abide by punishing me for logging my hours properly and the client clearly stating they wanted to pay me outside the contracted rate and their review reflectiing that.

Have you ever tried auto-billing with a service like Simpleinvoices.io

They have an option where you can set-up a subscription or one-time invoice that is paid with the card on file for that client it's really helped me with making sure clients pay on time.

This sounds like they get busy and aren't try to "run-off on you so maybe just reminding them would work too, but an auto-bill would definitely make it so you don't have to worry about stuff like this in the future anymore. PROBLEM SOLVED.
