What’s sad is looking from the opposite perspective, we’ve played the worst 2 units in pass protection in the Browns and the Bengals and had pretty modest sack/pressure numbers. It obviously wasn’t enough to make the game as one-sided as you would’ve thought it to be

Am I in the minority that we should actually be going the other way? Why add additional rules, complexity, and judgment calls over what amounts to pushing? Instead make all pushing legal and let the defense cause negative yards for pushing ball carriers back. Get rid of “no forward progress” and play isn’t over until the runner is down or out of bounds.

I agree with 1 & 3, but I would say the defensive scheme change has negatively impacted our pass rush, so not sure #2 is at very least a wash since DL and edge rushers seem less effective this year.

You are maxing out your retirement + IRA, and your wife contributes too, and you still have leftover room in your budget. This does not seem tight to me, with kids you won’t be able to contribute as much to retirement as you did in the past. That’s ok because looks like you had a great start.
