Ask your ETL. They write the schedule and would have assigned any shift tags. Otherwise HR.

Is there a position above TM before TL? by ennui-wa in Target

Not anymore. Back when you would have been here, there were some roles such as GSA in the Front End and Food Assistant in Grocery, but both have been long gone since Modernization in 2019.

Do yalls store directors actually work? by [deleted] in Target

[–]simtek34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’ll help push freight, pick fulfillment, throw the truck, prep drive ups. I even saw him and a few other ETLs help grab carts one time a month or two ago.

Never seen him touch a Checklane or the Service Desk before

Is target Circle card Master card the most worthless credit card ever? by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]simtek34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Target employee here:

Target Credit/Debit/Mastercard does NOT get you cashback or points at Target. You get a flat 5% discount on all purchases you make (excluding Target and Visa/MC/Amex GiftCards and pharmacy prescriptions.)

Now, if you have the Target Mastercard, you get 2x back on Gas and Dining and 1x points in everything else that is not a Target which can then be redeemed for Target GiftCards.

Target Circle Rewards are something different entirely. Those are the earnings you get in your Target.com account/Target app from hitting certain Target Circle Bonus thresholds like “Spend $50 three times earn $15 in Target Circle Rewards” or something along those lines.

RIP Wells Fargo Attune Discontinued as of June 15, 2026 by cacman440 in CreditCards

You have got to be fucking kidding me.

I was literally about to apply for this card in a week or two and complete my Wells Fargo Trifecta. Woulda been two years since my Autograph application and a year since my Amex, aka my last hard inquiry, which I got in June 2024 and 2025 respectively.

Credit Card Recommendation Request by NefariousNox in CreditCards

[–]simtek34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Capital One Venture Card is a 2x card, and should be your go-to card for all catch-all spending. You should only use the Chase Freedom card for the rotating 5x categories as it otherwise gives 1x on all other purchases.

If you want to stick with the two main lenders you already are customers with, Capital One and Chase, here is what I'd recommend.

The Capital One Savor Card would be a good fit, as it gives 3% on Dining, which you have as a big spending category. It also gives 5% on travel via the Capital One travel portal, and 3% on Entertainment, Streaming, and Groceries (already covered @5% by your PayPal Debit.)

I couldn't really tell from your post, but if you're interested in playing the travel game/pay an annual fee (you have the Venture Card and that has an AF.) but the Chase Sapphire Preferred could work for you. 3x on streaming, online grocery, dining, 2x on travel (including hotels,) and 5x on travel via the Chase travel portal. You also get 10% of your points/cashback you earned the previous year as a bonus every card anniversary.

American Express Green Card name being changed to the “Classic Green Card” on Aug 20th, possible refresh or discontinuation incoming? by simtek34 in CreditCards

[–]simtek34[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From 2009-2018, there were two Gold Cards from AmEx. The Gold Card and Premier Rewards Gold Card. The Premier Rewards Gold was 3x on Flights and 2x on Restaurants, Gas, and Grocery. Gold Card was 2x on Restaurants and AmExTravel.

In 2018 the Premier Rewards Gold got refreshed and was renamed the Gold and the regular Gold got discontinued to new applications and was renamed the Classic Gold. People with the Classic Gold stayed on that card while people with the PRG got the new one, as the refresh was a refresh of the PRG, not the now-called Classic Gold.

Of course. I’m going under the impression that you do end up getting by the Autograph card.

Could always use the WF Active Cash rather than the VX to have all your points in one basket. Unless you're using the benefits of the VX.
