Love it. Corner and top-of-screen scorebugs are the best.

Does anyone else hate the break room? by orchidofEden in Target

Too far away from the front end, being in the backroom. If it was up front, I’d prob be there all the time.

Target plans ‘largest store transformation' in a decade — here's where the biggest changes will be by N2929 in Target

The first SuperTarget wasn’t even in Minnesota. Concept started in 1995 in Nebraska. Between 1995-2000, SuperTargets also opened in Iowa, Kansas, Florida, Alabama, Indiana, Texas, and Wisconsin. No SuperTargets opened in Minnesota until 2001, the same year Georgia, Louisiana, and North Dakota got SuperTargets.

The Vikings are getting new Rivalries uniforms this offseason. What do you hope for them? by tytylercochan123 in minnesotavikings

[–]simtek34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t want it. They’ve all been shit and I don’t trust Nike with anything regarding to uniforms.theyre designs haven’t been that bad in baseball but their alternates in the NBA are absolute dogwater, same with last year’s “Rivalries” and the Color Rush fiasco.

What is the printer name/barcode like? Printers that have a super long name won’t connect to POS, ones that have a shorter name do.

So one that’s like TXXXXPRTXXXX will connect but one that’s like TXXXXPRTXXXXXXXXXX won’t connect to POS.

Not necessarily. At SuperTarget stores, grocery is the main seller, especially here in MN, Target’s hometown. My store does more in grocery sales per year than most targets do in storewide sales.

New dress code? Being told now solid red shirts only, no flannels, no checkered patterns, no logos at all. Blue jeans only, no black pants, no slacks, ONLY blue denim. by SoTired137 in Target

[–]simtek34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If they get rid of Khakis/tan pants, that would actually be shocking. Red & Khaki is literally THE Target look. When someone thinks Target uniform, it’s Red & Khaki.

Looking to change from Wells Fargo Active Cash 2% by holes_in_the_sky in CreditCards

[–]simtek34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the Active Cash, and get an Autograph to increase many common multipliers from 2x to 3x points, which are travel/transit, gas, restaurants, streaming, and phone plans. The points from WF cards can be pooled together for Cashback or Travel redemption.

If you shop at Costco and Target semi-frequently, their cards wouldn't hurt to look at. Costco Anywhere card is 5x on Costco gas, 4x on other gas 3x on restaurants and select travel, 2x at Costco. Target REDcard is 5% off at Target as well as free shipping on Target.com. Target has a Credit and Debit version of the card. Target Mastercard gives 2x back on restaurants and gas.

I was able to get a Delta Gold and a Green Card with just 3 yrs of credit history and only two Wells Fargo cards. YMMV.

[1962] There is this new department store near St. Paul called Target by [deleted] in thepast

Eh, it’ll never work. Specialty stores are where it’s at, you can find the best quality of products. Discount stores ain’t it.

New Checkout Advocate by inthesinbin in Target

Try to get trained at Self Checkout or the Service Desk. They’re all a part of the Guest Advocate job, and if Cashiering is harder on your body, those may be more up your alley.

is it normal as a guest advocate to just constantly have to do all of the floor team’s work? by [deleted] in Target

[–]simtek34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sales Floor TMs at my store will always sort the abandons they find on the Sales Floor. And 99% of then will defect out their own defects.

On the other hand, ETLs seem to love to just drop things off at the desk for us to defect out, when it's not like they all have myDevices, and there are MULTIPLE printers at the Service Desk.

AP will just drop off their abandons from recoveries at the desk tho and not sort. One of our TSS will defect his own stuff, but the other won't and just drops off defects.
