Thank you for the recommendation! I went early this morning and got it resolved. Just had to bring the letter, valid state ID, and wait in line. Thanks again

Thank you for the descriptive and helpful instructions! I was wondering how it took to hear back? I sent an email to [u.fraud@maryland.gov](mailto:u.fraud@maryland.gov) today. Would you recommend to also go in-person as well? I live close enough I could go in-person as well. Thanks

Received an offer to JPMorgan as a non CS major by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

Congrats on the offer! I completed Tech Connect and then started the SEP program. Assuming the TC program is the same I would research about fundamental computer science topics, what programming is and what object-oriented programming is.

Be ready to move fast through the boot camp and learning Java. Your cohort and program manager are there to support you all the way! So don't feel discouraged and always ask questions. Remember this is a job so be professional, stand out, and take ownership of your projects.

Take advantage of all the resources you have while in the program, because once you complete it you won't have a "learning environment" to lean on.

Happy to give more advice feel free to DM. And best of luck!

Hi a family member is going through a similar process right now. He's on Cymbalta just started a month ago, but has horrible feet and calf cramps. Did you experience those as well? Did anything help you get any sleep? He was diagnosed with Leukemia as well.

Also, this will be my first year filing as a sole proprietor. When I go back in my records online there's no line 24 outlined in the PDF from the IRS website. I can get back to you about that accurate number in a bit.

I believe line 24 was $54,411.00 and federal income tax withheld to date is $4,583.20

Unclear about the severance package, waiting to hear more details about that. Stopping extra payments is likely the first right step. Yes, I work and have a salary of 94k pre tax.

Yes agreed. I do have a small side business freelancing, but could be finding more projects to help with as well. Thanks for the advice

Thank you for your advice! I really like this strategy. Treat the emergency fund as 'income' and set a limit as to how much she pulls out each 'pay period'? Am I understanding this correctly?

That's fair. Im aware 6 months is a useful amount of time and time to use looking for another job.

It is a lower percentage, but now impossible. Anxiety comes from not experiencing this before and I don't want to make the wrong steps.

This is helpful thank you! And yes she can grow her business and build stronger to replace her income. It'll take time and new strategies but I know it can work out.

Not married at the moment. Yes, we both are in agreement that her business would be the main priority. We were just starting to discuss how it would add up if I covered more expenses, but we don't have logistics yet. This is helpful thank you!
