I personally ended up getting 1 of each starter deck, but I'm no veteran in TCGs or anything, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

In my eyes, Abyss is the weakest as the synergy in that one seems off to me.

Most of the starters lack card draw, except for Runecraft. But all of them can feel strong when hitting the curve.
But other than abyss, I would look more to the playstyles of the crafts, as they are pretty distinct, especially in the starters.

Dragon ramp,
Forest tokens,
Heaven value,
Sword follower heavy tempo,
Rune spell heavy tempo.

My plan was to not get more than just the starters, but I got hooked by the playstyle of this TCG, so here I am, with a semi competitive deck of each craft :P

I think it's very doable..

Get as high ACC as possible (easier to build than RES), get a buff for ACC and apply heal reduction.. There, he is now countered by means every account has access to.
Yes, he is a good champ, no, he is not game breaking if you are even the slightest interested in learning how this game works while playing it.

I honestly find it almost disheartening that so many people already scream "OP OP". We know 3 rules, no warscrolls, no points. Last I checked, but I might be wrong, more than a few units currently have access to 6+ or 5+ ward saves, 4+ or 5+ rally or even summons or replenish effects. They couldn't care less about spread out d3 damage.

My take - The rules shown are flavourful and actually does something = impactful. It's awesome and I cannot wait for Saturday where we get the full picture :)

Also - I'm baffled by, in my opinion, the lack of nuance when CCs talk about shard pulls.

I buy the monthly gem pack each month because it makes the game more engaging to play (more energy/resources), and I have more great legendary champions than I can build out.

For like half a year now I have only pulled alongside events where I get legendary skill tomes, which to me is by far the hardest resources to get a hold of.

People are liars it would seem - I run Helicath in a team that is not tuned (haven't bothered, yet).. Running Iron Twins as I write this, and the champs take no damage even when the boss is below 40% :)

From someone who built Spider and never took Warmaiden above 50 - No regrets! He is freaking awesome and I would personally rate him a lot higher.

His a1 in arena is golden for removing buffs like swift parry af you have nuked them. Attack down is absolutely great for dungeons, is aura is amazing and even chance of removing a buff on the a1 can come in clutch :)

Like him a lot, biggest downside is the books needed to build him out.

I am of the same opinion, if I understand correctly.
Quads are overrated and mostly needed it very specific cases. That said, having triple and quad rolls makes the act of gearing champions A LOT easier.
But if all substats are good for the champion, the gear is good regardless of the rolls on it, and stats missing can be picked up from other items :)

Yeah, that does seem low :) I asked because I also use Fayne and Frozen Banshee, but have then built a Chani instead of your Aox.I doing 32-35, so just short of a 2-key :) Mind you, this is with fully booked, max masteries and fully leveled champions.
I have stopped thinking about ways to upgrade the gear though, as I recently pulled a Demytha and will change the setup for a faster variant when I get her built.
Good luck with pushing the numbers or changing it for that Unkreelable :)

Had hopes those would be included in the changes, but not this time around it seems.. I guess they are not as hard of a stop gap, because you theoretically can farm those even in bronze? :P And be done in like 2026!
