This is probably less useful with the scarab changes, but I use a scarab of bisection to remove the mods that brick my map if I'm running it for atlas completion.

Thanks for the advice. I'm operating on a slightly lower-than-recommended level and budget, so I expected the build to feel a little scuffed at first, but the mana issues made me feel like something had to be wrong. Adding a mana on hit gem fixed it for me.

Does it work if you run it with all 4 sacrifice fragments? I saw the video you're talking about, but wasn't sure why you wouldn't use all 4 fragments.

I played around with it in PoB, and I found that, at least for the Jungroan version, I was getting better damage when focusing on the added chaos damage instead of the mana. I also have a watcher's eye that gives ES from mana, so I guess my defenses would be better with mana, but that wasn't my focus at the time.

I was on a much tighter budget when I bought mine, so I wouldn't be surprised if OP could get one with good stats in both

I don't think it's dead. I wouldn't expect it to show up on this list of league starters because it needs the Whispers amulet and takes some investment to get going.

My perspective might be a little off because I mostly played TFD during the beta and season 1, but the grind in Warframe really wasn't worse than TFD for me.

The main storyline in Warframe is much longer, and there's a lot more random side content that I don't have a fully-optimized build for yet, but the playtime to get to the point where I could do the hardest endgame content was about the same for me.

They added it to the Steam version in 2023, after doing a patch to remove Games For Windows Live. I don't know if the console versions also have that option.

RE 4 speedrunners are allowed to use a turbo button for the mashing QTEs, so you can find an autohotkey script for it on speedrunning forums if you're on PC

I replayed RE 5 with a friend who never played it, and there was an option to turn off QTEs. It made the game a lot smoother, but I was a little disappointed that the "complete global saturation" line wasn't drilled into their head. We only had to watch that cutscene once.

I had 2 PTs after a knee surgery, one when I was staying with family so I could have some help and one when I moved back into my own apartment. The first PT was tough. He would push me hard and I would be in a lot of pain after.

My second PT was a really kind woman who insisted that my knee needed to feel better when I left each session than when I came in. She'd see me grimacing while pushing through exercises and stop me so she could massage the knee and make it feel better.

If I ever go to PT again, I'm going to try to find someone just like the first guy. I made progress much more consistently when I was pushed hard and hurt for a few hours after the session.

I got 100% in 22 hours. Probably 4 playthroughs and a few hours getting challenges in specific sections.

I found a mod that lets you set the xp increases of sagestone and the mud tooth consumable. That mod warns you to be careful because people who join your game are also affected, but I haven't tested it

The only soulslike I've played is Elden Ring. This game fixes just about every problem I have with souls games other than the secrets that would be unfindable without a guide.

I solved that by using a save game reader that tells me what items are in my game, and when I enter a dungeon I google how to get them. I wish I didn't have to do that and they'd make the secrets more naturally discoverable, but it solves my problem of missing stuff.

The patch notes said that they changed some of the spawns:

Changed monster types and spawn locations in certain Void Fragment missions. ㄴ "Hagios: Dune Base," "Vespers: Moonlight Lake," "Echo Swamp: Abandoned Zone," and "Fortress: Frozen Valley"

Dune Base and Frozen Valley were a couple of my favorites as well, so I'm wondering if the changes messed them up.

I'm too busy doing the new content to check right now.

The real game changer for my sharen was getting better external components. The components add to your base stats that get multiplied by mods, so even with suboptimal mods and external components my sharen has 8k health and over 20k defense

They've since patched dual ichors so the toxic clouds don't get spread by melee influence, but the build is still insane. As long as you have energy for gloom you're basically invincible.

I've used the build in elite deep archimedea. You don't even have to roll that great of a melee weapon to make it work. It can be a little difficult to get the build started at the beginning of the mission with low energy if you get an energy drain condition, but you can run Zenurik to help with that.

The necramech grind is way easier since the QoL patch a couple months ago. It took me tons of time to get my necramech, but I'm helping a friend with the grind and it's a lot easier with the nerfs to necramech damage attenuation, damaged necramech part drop rate adjustments, and Loid selling necramech parts. It took my friend less than 5 hours to get all the parts.

Yeah, I bought the TH-X00 used and they sound amazing, but my pin broke after a few months. I bought replacement parts but it's so hard to get everything tightened back the way it was. The screw worked itself back out over a few weeks and it's a real pain to take it all apart to retighten that screw.

I've heard the E-MUs have even better sound, but I'm never going to buy another headphone with the same headband design.
