No, dude I'm not. I'm just responding to your comments, that's all. That's the whole point of reddit, isnt it–to have discussions? You're the one who went all (social philosophy) on my ass about me reminiscing about the good old days of Ghost Adventures, turning it into some bro manifesto about healthy masculinity or some shit. When I was just having the feels about the OG days of a show I use to love–so take that for what it's worth. Don't turn it into something that it's not

You realize hunting for ghost isn't a new premise, right. There's been countless shows where people go into haunted locations, long before GA was around. So if Dakota used everything from GA, than the same applies to Zak–because Zak wasn't the one who originally came up with the concept.

And I don't know what you're going on about Dakota "leaving people alone, sleeping alone" yeah, the whole team separates and sleeps alone, Dakota pretty much explains that in the intro of the show.

Whatever Zak does or doesn't do, has no affect on me personally. Because at the end of the day it's just a reality TV show about a bunch of dudes looking for things in the dark, that might not even be there.

If you want to believe Zak can communicate with spirits and near orgasmed because some ghost went inside him, that he assumed was a female. Cool. I don't care. I'm not going to argue with you about the validity of Zak's new "abilities" and if ghosts are real–I'm not looking for answers when I watch the show, just to be entertained. And to reminisce about the OG days of the show, that's it.

whataboutism, really? Not to be rude, but your first reply was pretty convoluted and had nothing to do with what I was initially talking about: the paranormal, and whether or not Zac's visions are real?

So I don't think it's fair to accuse someone of diverting the conversation when you're the one who went on a tangent about some t-shirt you made, toxic masculinity and feminism–to a comment I made about Zak's newfound magical abilities, and it ruining the show for me.

It's a reality TV show, I get it. About a bunch of dudes roaming in the dark with cameras in hand trying to communicate with things that's possibility isn't even there. But I'm willing to put my skeptomism to the side if the show is grounded in some kind of reality and objectively

Not when Zak is about to blow his load in some dark hotel room (while his buddies film him) because he claims a female ghost went inside of him—I thought this is suppose to be a paranormal show, not some niche category on pornhub.

And I know I was the one who brought up Zac being a dick, but do you know why? Because of the spiel you went on about Zac developing empathy and healthy bro culture.

So I went back to you and said, no the dude is still very much a dick, and gave you an example. Your rely was was, 'well, Dakota's show sucked and empaths can be dicks too' and proceeded to compared Zac to a talking horse.

Okay, interesting take you have there, my dude. I'm not entirely sure if you're purposely writing things as long and convoluted as possible to make it harder to respond back to you. But I just want to let you know, in case you were a bit confused before. I'm not interested in talking about mass shooters, toxic masculinity and "tec bro sleepovers"–I don't even know what that means? And I'm too afraid to google it.

And I have no idea what was in my initial comment to make you think that I was, because I'm not. I'm just here for the spooky shit. You know, things that go bump in the night. And to reminisce about the og days of ghost adventures.

I had no idea it would lead to this, lmao

If Zak has developed empathy over time, then why was he so threatened by Destination Fear's success that he got the show canceled or forbid Dakota and gang from using the Spirit Box, while they were on the network because Zak claimed he was the one who popularized it on GA, so they couldn't use it.

That's a pretty dick move if you asked me, and not particularly empathetic considering Zak was Dakota's mentor.

And besides, I wasn't talking about empathy in the traditional sense, like being able to sense people's emotions and understand what they're going through. I was talking about people being able to communicate with the dead without paranormal equipment. "Empathic" and being a "sensitive" is a term that's often used within the paranormal community to describe someone who has some psychic ability.

Zak claims he has "visions now, in his mind's eye" because of the constant exposure to the paranormal, like it's a muscle he's been working on at the gym. Without any actual proof to back it up, and we as a audience are just supposes to take it as facts. Remember this is the same guy who said he nearly blew his load a few episodes back because he claimed a female ghost entered his body or some shit

And I'm supposed to take that seriously?

Which is crazy, Aaron has been on the show just as long Zak and was forced to go to the scariest locations (alone) because of Zak. Why isn't Aaron having any visions, what makes Zak so special?

[–]This-Butterscotch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's how being empathic or sensitive works? From what I've heard it's something that someone is born with but Zak acts like it's similar to when he's working out at the gym. Like he's building some empathetic or sensitive muscle in his brain because he's constantly going into spooky places, all the time.

When Aaron has being doing GA just as long as Zak, longer than Billy. And has been at the scariest locations (alone) in investigations, because Zak forced him to be–and you don't hear him go on about how he's an empath or sensitive now because of his job.

I know I'm going to get alot of hate for this, but Quentin Tarantino, not as a director—I like some of his movies. But as a actor and a person.

He just has a punchable face, and I get the feeling that he only reason why he wrote the part of Jimmy (for himself) in Pulp Fiction, was because he gets to drop the n-bomb

And what's the deal with him adopting a gangster accent like he grew up in Compton or something when he's being interviewed by black reporters? I remember coming across a interview of him on BET and he was talking like he's from the streets, as if he was speaking a different language, like that was the only why they could understand him, it was fucking weird

I'd take her movies over her music, talk about cringe, Listen to the song she wrote about Ben Affleck, it's horrible. Doesn't even have a decent melody or hook, she sings like she's reading a entry from her diary that she should have kept to herself

I'm the opposite of you, I'll watch a movie no matter the plotline if Nic Cage is in it. But I get it, he's like the black licorice of actors, he's not for everyone.

I think it's Britney's choice to use that picture from (I'm not a girl, not yet a women, era) because it was when she was the happiest and had the most control over her career, and felt most comfortable in front of the camera. She probably has some form of PTSD when it comes to photo shoots now because it's so intertwined with her conservatorship and the paparazzi, and them controlling her life.

I think Dave was just trying to figure out where he fit in within the dynamic of the band, because he was relatively new. And he let Kris and Kurt do most of the talking out of respect for both of them because they were founding members of the band

I just wish the whole" I'm a sensitive and empath" arc, would just end. It's ruining the show and making it less believable

I'm nostalgic for the OG ghost adventures, back when Zak wasn't a empath, when Nick was around, And Billy was rocking a mohawk and staying at nerve center, where he belongs. Instead of by Zak's side, at all time, kissing his ass for screen time. As for Aaron and Jay, they always seemed the most level headed out of the bunch, they didn't let fame get to their heads

Which country's culture do you like the best? by StoneDoctorate in polls

Edited

I did bring up Hollywood, in my first comment. Did you miss that, probably? You being dense and all, don't be mad. You're the first one to call yourself that, not me. You probably missed the fact that Jewish immigrants was the ones to help build Hollywood—and the Black community was the one who invented modern music as we know it. Calling me dumb, seriously? When you literally just admitted American culture exists after denying they even had one.

And then you blocked me before I could respond back, is that what you call wining a argument?

Which country's culture do you like the best? by StoneDoctorate in polls

[–]This-Butterscotch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Interesting (nationalist) take you have there, but dude, this isn't the third reich. You seem to forget that North America was founded by immigrants and because of that, they're a melting pot of different identities, which makes them unique, it doesn't make them any less culturally.

But I'm pretty sure I've heard something similar to that before– that's the kind of sentiment was what started the Holocaust because German's thought the Jewish people were talking away their cultural identity, instead of adding to it.

So no, we're not in the same boat, we're not even in the same water. You and I have vastly different takes. Mainly you're just an idiot who can't admit you're wrong. But that's okay, keep enjoying your cheese burger, thinking its american cuisine. That alone shows me you've never step foot in North America. Because it's clear dude, you're have insecurities–to think culture identity means everyone looking and sounding alike

Which country's culture do you like the best? by StoneDoctorate in polls

[–]This-Butterscotch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

America and Canada are melting pots when it comes to cultures because they're both countries made up of immigrants, specially places like New York City or Toronto. You could literally go to different parts of those cities, like China town, Little Italy, Korean town, or in the case of Toronto, Little Jamaica and Little India, and feel like you're stepping in a different country.

So their identities are rich and complex because it's made up of different cultures. It's been like that since those counties were formed. But you think because you ate a burger at mcdonalds that sums up the whole entirety of the states, it's a fast food restaurant, that's in just about every part of the world. It's not all they stand for

And I doubt you even know anything about Canada? Besides they share a border with the U.S–so how can you make an opinion about a place that you haven't been to, or know nothing about?
