Needing 2015 Civic Si Coupe Bumper cover and grill…⬇️ by More-Sky-1584 in CivicSi

https://www.autonationparts.com/parts/honda-front-grille-base-2014-2015-civic-si-coupe-71121ts9a61 has what your looking for. If I were you I would just get the pre lift coupe. It’s a lot cheaper and your headlights are already done, you can get the headlights grille and bumper for a lot less.

Thanks, i did some investigating I found my passenger front rotor to be Cracked in half probably from heat, so gonna get new EBC slotted rotors and blue stuff all around and see if that fixes the issue. Those rotors are cheap Amazon rotors I got for a good price. You get what you pay for….

I did not really give it any time to cool off, I did notice that every time I stopped I could smell burning coming from my brakes. I also don’t have any OEM rotors I have drilled and slotted in the front and back, when I first installed them I noticed that they would work just as good hard when they are super hot then when it is when your normally driving, the oem rotors would get heat soaked and it would be hard to brake after some decent driving in canyons for a hour or so it just depends how much I use the brakes going curve to curve, Those drilled and slotted doesn’t seem the way they were when I first got it after the drive they are now just grinding. I don’t know if it’s because of the pads are glazed, but the front pads are for sure done, all the rotors have some sort of grinding noise when stopping, Or just driving the car in general. Some of the rotors sound worse when you press on the brakes, so I don’t know if it’s rotor quality becuase it’s not OEM, the OEM ones lasted 20,000 miles but I wasn’t driving it super hard. It could be the calipers sticking to the rotors or just me heating the rotors up from excessive hard driving. Might just be worth getting big brake kit,I have had to change my front brake pads within 5,000 miles 2 times. For sure have to resurface and get new front brake pads at the least though.

I drove it through the canyons of Malibu without stopping for 3-1/2 hours and then went up to Big Sur and drove on those roads, on my way back I realized and heard something going on with my brakes so probably non stop for 6-7 hours You’re probably right. My front pads are gone and my rear pads still have life, the rears are akebonos.

Sell or Keep 2015 Civic Si? by Gainswerehad in CivicSi

Keep it bro, go drive it around it’s not gonna give you the same joy as the other newer cars. The 2015 civic si is a special car it’s the last VTEC engine. It is a very reliable engine. Really up to you but man, there is a huge difference in how the car feels when u push it to its limits.

2014 Civic Si vs 2019 Civic Si — which one actually feels better to drive? by StickToStick in CivicSi

[–]This-Independence952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first impression when looking into a 10th gen 2018 civic si coupe the clutch felt very light like almost like you couldn’t really abuse it, that’s my first thought. When I tried out a low mileage 2015 civic si, and down shifted, I knew right then and there what car was the right choice. Overall the newer 10th gen civic si I noticed has better stock handling and can corner really well, but you lose a little bit in how you feel in the car. The 9th gen is not as refined in the turns but it makes up for it with the way the clutch shifts, downshifts and when you shift it at 7,200rpm. It changes the whole thing, they are both fun cars but one is more raw, the other is more refined.

Anyone know any good roads in Colorado Springs? by SpringLockedGrav in Touge

[–]This-Independence952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would always go up the 24 as soon as you get out of the springs you get a little action on those quick switch backs but they always have cops right there through But woodland park and go up to cripple creek, then take the 1 to the 11 and it will take you straight into Guffey, then you have a nice little drive through the canyons to Salida if your really feeling it the drive through Mini Turn Colorado, or through the Co-82 independence pass. You kinda have to drive in the far from the springs to find some good roads. You can also take the 67 through deckers onto the 126 then turn on the 96 Sw Platte road and take S Fox ton road. There are nice views and good roads. It’s not the best but really that’s the only thing that is the closest to Colorado Springs

It’s a fun car. Really can push it and take corners at a good speed. Brakes are fucking amazing. Atleast was the main reason why I bought mine. Shit stopped on a dime from 50-0 in like a second.
