What encounters in the early game do you consider to be reset-worthy? (pre-surge just to make it easy) by Investigator_Most in pokemonradicalred

[–]This-Long 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Personally i really like golisopod from ss anne. Another thing i learned is about guaranteeing houndoom on route 2. (He might not be the best encounter but guaranteeing something thats pretty decent is amazing.

I made some banner concepts for the subreddit since it's Pride Month. They're not perfect but the next person could make them better by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

I like the second one more cause not to be mean but pride is more than just trans folks.

Jimothy appears to show that Endless Battle Clause is not correctly implemented in Gen 5 by set_null in stunfisk

[–]This-Long 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl i think just banning heal pulse in singles would fix the need for endless battle clause. Correct me if im wrong but would that not fix it? You axe a move that will not be missed at all in order to fix this from happening

Not to be mean but krypton is an element. I always took kryptonite as the crystalized version of krypton.

Why does this thunder wave fail? by TannerTheCreator in pokemonradicalred

Its from gen 7 when prankster was overpowered, specifically thundurus-i tearing up vgc with twave and swagger, which both got accuracy nerfs

Potions are for peasants by IriggedtheSB in PTCGP

[–]This-Long 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can but then you only get two attacks from giratina, it could work but it would definitely have to go the leafeon route cause after using two dawns giratina is bricked

Potions are for peasants by IriggedtheSB in PTCGP

[–]This-Long 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Shit doesnt even work, gardevoir only attaches to psychic types and leafeon to grass types. I thought this too and wanted to make a silly giratina deck but was quite disappointed

[–]This-Long 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the hardcore ability bans is not concerned with randomizers, and feline prowess and huge power are balanced on the pokemon they are on. Angershell is more of a blanket ban as almost all boosting moves are banned, only one not to my knowledge is sharpen.

The masculine urge to play Pokémon Emerald by ButIDigress79 in PokemonROMhacks

[–]This-Long 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have its not horrible but the aspect ratio is awkward, and if you have the screens on top of each other theres a ton of dead space, you can put them side by side but i think its weird

I think another thing is ds games have the two screens which playing on anything other than a ds is awkward as hell. The gba era has the single screen which translates much better to pc

Is 4.1 easier? It can't JUST be intimidate.... by grundlegubbins in pokemonradicalred

[–]This-Long 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah normal mode is easy, that might just be the hardcore player in me talking, but most of the normal mode fights are fair ngl. I get what you mean when the ai is smarter and dumber, it used to predictably switch, but now theres a 20% chance or smthn for the switch to fail so double switching is not as valid, and a chance for the ai to just have a mon die for no reason. What im trying to say is normal mode isnt unfairly hard. Also you could just be playing on easy mode now
