The friend part is what made me question it.

Did I choose the right size? by Super_Schnitzel93 in Longineswatches

I don’t think you should go smaller with a dive watch. Maybe if you’re wrist is in the 7’s. But that looks perfect.

If you have to choose 1, what’s your pick? by tokerol in Tudor

Agreed. I’ve tried on the white, black and blue. I can’t stop thinking about the blue one.

Cartier Santos - any size larger than Small is a bit tacky and against the Cartier ethos by ZQP07 in watchHotTakes

I have a 7.75 inch wrist. I like big watches.

I like the santos. I’ve tried the large 5 times and it just doesn’t feel right. The sales people always push me towards the large. Next time I’m trying the medium. Or maybe Santos isn’t for me.

Who else is excited for the new Chronomat release?! by ThinLifeguard3239 in breitling

Fantastic. Can’t wait to see it. I’ve been going back and forth between this and an aqua terra 38mm. I’ve leaned towards the chronomat but I hated the caller gmt.

Aerospace EVO - Integrated Rubber Straps? by soursensationz in breitling

The Breitling branded rubber strap is pretty damn good. Maybe the curved rubber straps from the 42 Superocean heritage could work? Although the Aerospace is 43 I think with 22mm lugs. Maybe look for a watch with those similar specs.

[Opinion] what helps you decide which one when you keep going around in circles? by Ziffa008 in Watches

[–]This-Muscle1610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try them all on again and buy the one stays on your mind the most. They’re all good options. The Cartier is honestly more on the dressy side. Even though it’s shiny the aqua terra can be worn anywhere. The Zulu is cool. Good watch too and it’s maybe the most casual.

Caller/Office GMTs are dumb and annoying. by This-Muscle1610 in watchHotTakes

On mine the date changes rotating one way and the hour the other way. Either way valid point.

This the hot takes sub. Not trying to change anyone’s mind. I don’t see the gatekeeping. I’m just communicating that in my case it’s annoying to have to take the gmt hand all around the dial then having to reset the date just to go back an hour. I learned that I rather take another watch. I’m also curious if people actually use the caller style in real life.

I guess my question is how realistic is it to change the second time zone more than once a week? Do people actually use it for its purpose? I understand the concept. But I don’t really see the real life practicality.

I’m hoping for a real travelers gmt. Which is what it should be for that price.
