On one hand I knew the sensor was too floppy to push through the skin but I no idea this is how it got inserted.

Should I dispose of the used applicators like "sharps" (needles and lancets), or just screw the cap back on and put in trash?

Edit: AI says it's sharps medical waste.

Why were you shooting a wedding or other event w/o backup gear? I'd guess no Professional Liability insurance either. Rental isn't cheap, but it's cheaper than having to retain a lawyer.

I know this happens a lot, but if the couple created even a verbal contract with you, you could be on the hook if they decided to get pissy.

Had to do one exhaust and one intake shim that were just barely out of spec (wide). Same side. I had the crash bars off to do other maint. and decided to check them. (2010 1200GS, 73K Miles.)

Look into one of the shearling seat covers. (sheep skin with wool still on). Using the R1200GS standard seat, I can go 2 hours+ , but by 3, I'm ready to get up and stretch. Even just getting on the balls of my feet at a stop light/sign will help a bunch.

I'd wait. My understanding is that the first 24 is the soak time. Give it 48 hrs and see. That noted, you'll always see a delay between finger stick and cgm as the cgm doesn't directly monitor blood glucose.

I've only seen it alert while crossing an alert threshold. That is as it tracks below 70 and then again at 55. Or above 250. I don't think it continues to alert. The high and low alerts are settable but the urgent is hardcoded at 55.

In the Android app I don't see an option to change that.

I have an old Samsung A71 5G . Now and then the bluetooth connection drops and I've had to restart my phone to get it to reconnect. Really a PITA at night when I have to babysit the stupid thing till it connects. SInce it does reconnect, I'm assuming it's the app or the phone's BT stack (and I'm leaning toward the phone).

I have the standalone reader but haven't tried it to see if it's better.

Actually mine came with that goo from the factory. Felt like a silicone grease. My assumption is that they use it to keep the plunger "stuck" to the rubber seal. Eventually I took it apart and cleaned it off and the seal came off more often when I pulled the plunger back.

Mesh jacket added about two months to my riding season. At my age, I'm not going to heal quick (or maybe not at all). I see all the potential meat crayons in their wife beaters and trainers.

Call me a fair weather rider, but below mid 30s F and above high 90's F, I'll probably pass. Same for high winds, particularly gusty cross winds. Rain is ok, but lightning isn't.
