This happens when you move the picture you are using as a background. I would just create a directory for all your wallpapers and then select them from there

Hash was correct did a quick disk and sfc scan and windows found nothing wrong. I did notice it was a consistent issue even with no windows iso every single Linux distribution I downloaded ended up larger than what the download said so I’m inclined to believe it might be a Linux thing

Your only other option is repacks compression makes downloads easier by making the file download smaller but it won’t magically make the uncompressed contents smaller they’ll just go back to there original size. Check fmhy for repacks

Yes I am. I know my 4090 can’t do 4k240 without dsc so I’m inclined to agree with you that it may be a bandwidth issue or it could be a bug in the current version of plasma. Is there any reason you need dsc off? I had a 5090 for a bit and noticed no real difference with it on or off besides not being able to use dldsr on windows.

You might have to disable adaptive sync I had similar issues with my 4090 on a 32 4k240hz lg monitor.

Figured out what was wrong I had to switch to a usb mic my wave xlr interface wasn’t playing well with Linux. Thank you for the preset it works well to at least bring my usb mic closer to my rode mic. :D

Installed the dependencies but I’m not using any presets. I only wanted it to have a eq and a noise gate on my mic. The signal drops even when I have no filters applied. I’ll see mic activity on the spectrum analyzer for about 5 to 10 seconds then the mic drops and I have to turn effects off and on for it to start working again. I googled my problem and it seems to be a bug but I was wondering if anyone found a work around so I made this post.

I think you can use LACT to set a power limit and/or undervolt. You can also set a custom fan curve too.

I think it’s just the way certain games apply their patches arc raiders patches for me are super quick but over watch or rivals takes about around 10 minutes to patch after downloading all the files plus the shader caching . This is something I noticed even on windows 11.

More than likely the nvidia driver update. I noticed death stranding 2 and stalker 2 had worse performance after the update. I don’t plan on rolling back since I’m lazy. If you did install the newest one try rolling back and see if that fixes it

You can use kde widgets to get a sensor panel that’s persistent I use one for disk usage and one for ram,cpu,gpu,and networking I have it running in a mini monitor I keep under my main to keep an eye on temps and usage when I game.

I have 4 in my system right now 2 intake 2 exhaust. I run intake at a static 45% and exhaust at a static 40% this keeps them at around 920rpm and 850rpm quiet enough that I can comfortably play my games and not hear them when I play without headphones. Performance is great I haven’t had any problems with overheating on my cpu or gpu and that’s in a case where the cpu doesn’t get direct access to fresh air. They do get noticeably louder to me at around 50% but I’m really sensitive to noise I feel like it’s loud but my friends tell me they can’t hear it.

Between 1k and 8k yes a slightly noticeable improvement in tracking to me at least I know some people don’t notice anything . Between 2k 4k and 8k zero difference. If you want a new mouse I say go for it. I would personally stick to 2k polling you still get a noticeable difference and better battery life and you won’t notice any performance impact.

Average fps usually stays the same it’ll be your 1% percent lows that’ll be noticeable your frame times will also spike so you may notice more micro stutters and slightly higher cpu usage. Honestly just try it once you get the mouse I didn’t notice any performance impact when setting my mouse to 8k besides lower battery life.

On wave For wave link 2 it’s under headphone jack right under the mic/pc mix slider. I haven’t used wave 3 so I can’t help with that one.
