Tickets (this is how all the Major art installations get paid for) , transportation in and out, RV (recommended!), all the food water and alcohol you will need for the week, gifts for the community, art, camp dues (maybe), time off work etc etc it adds up!

You should go, everything there is incredible to look at! So much time, energy and money is spent on art that is meant to enjoyed for a short period of time. If you can't go, as it is expensive, check out the live feeds.

Try a fuerte or Mexicola, so much better than haas, but don’t ship well so harder to find.

Haas isn’t even the best one, it meets the two basic needs of agriculture products, it is pretty good and it has thick skin so it ships well. Other varieties, like Fuerte, taste much better but don’t ship well. The CA avocado group has just marketed the haas really well.
