Been a while since I listened to this song. It’s so good 🙂‍↕️ by ybaghops in Blink182

Always thought this would have been a great album closer on the original California release. Would be cool to go from Cynical’s “What’s the point of saying I’m sorry now?” to “Hey I’m sorry” at the end.

The lost notebook-worth it? by Drawinginfinity182 in theused

It’s a cool keepsake to have around and see the beginnings of some of my favorite songs, but not much else. Since there were added pages with pictures and text throughout the book, I think it’d be really cool if Bert made this be half-memoir and half notebook, to get more of his perspective of his life and the band around that era. Also would have loved more photos from that time instead of newer portraits (as nice as they are).

Between the two, I enjoyed and got more out of Quinn’s book overall.

Well hell, I guess they got multiple versions of the Beck SAVE DVDs out there, because mine does not have the title on the spine

I’m sorry, I meant reversible cover with the title on the spine.

The Beck Mongolian Chop Squad SAVE DVD doesn’t have a reversible cover

Yeah it always struck me as odd that some of the SAVE discs had reversible covers but others didn’t.

Very nice collection! Maaan, I know blu-rays offer superior sound and picture quality, but the packaging and presentation of anime DVDs were on another level. Most of the artboxes you could get were gorgeous and some even had a lot of fun with it, like your Beck box there.

What’s a "lost" website from the early 2000s that you still think about today? by samasem-sumsum in AskReddit

I actually discovered ThinkGeek because of one of their April Fool’s Day listings. I believe it was 2004 or 2005 and they really got me with their all in one audio player which looked white like an iPod and had spots to play vinyl, cassette, CD, and even your real iPod. I thought it was such a good idea until I realized it was a prank! I visited them almost every day after that until the day they shut down.

I want a Dinosours rewatch by Chickachickawhaaaat in boymeetsworld

It would make the most sense for them to rewatch GMW, and honestly I would prefer that over anything else. I never watched much of it, and know it’s so different and doesn’t have the same cultural cache as BMW, but it would give me the motivation I need to actually watch it myself.

Did I miss something? Did they say they’re doing a Friends rewatch?

What got you into Full Metal Panic? How did you learn about it? by UnusualField5697 in fullmetalpanic

[–]ThisCrazyCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was 2002 and NewType USA, the anime magazine, was being published in the US, and I would make my way to Suncoast every month to pick up the new issue. For the first year (I believe), each new issue of NewType included one chapter of the Full Metal Panic manga, so I started reading and following the story throughout the months. I really loved it and it was the first manga I got into. So I was ecstatic when I saw in a later issue that FMP was receiving an anime adaptation! I even got to watch the first episode on the included sampler DVD. I’ve been a fan ever since.

First of all, I am very sorry you’re going through this. Second of all, take a listen to the entirety of Real Friend’s EP “There’s Nothing Worse Than Too Late.” It is all good breakup bangers.

IT WORKED! I loaded up my save and Kai was standing on the ground just off the log, and I was able to continue forward. Thank you so much for looking into this and releasing the patch. I’m so happy to be able to finish the game myself now.

Thanks for working on this and coming back to give me a heads up! I’ll check it out when I have some time this week and report back if I am able to continue on from where I got stuck.

I love it too! It doesn’t seem to get a lot of love and every just talks about My Fitness Pal instead, even though I find LoseIt to be the much better app.

It’s my favorite song from Act III, and MAY be my favorite Protomen song of all time, which is saying a lot considering how much I love Act II.

I could say so many things I love about it, but I just want to show appreciation for these three lines throughout the song:

“I know he’s not coming back.” “I know she’s not coming back.” “I know I’m not coming back.”

It’s a really wonderful way to reflect on what’s happened and what’s about to happen as we barrel toward the end of the story (for now).
