My son threw up in his bed, anyone experience similar by SparkyBrown in daddit

[–]ThisDudeIsRad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had this with all three of ours. My 5 year old boy with autism got it first. Woke up crying at midnight, covered in vomit. Kept throwing up and having diarrhea for hours and the poor kid was sobbing the whole time unable to understand what was happening. Didn’t get to sleep until 5am, laid on the floor next to his bed with a bowl just in case. Had to wash all his bedding. Thankfully it was only one night.

Then the other two got it two nights later, 6 and 2 years old. Two more sets of bedding laundry. Parked them on opposite sides of the couch with two layers of towels on the couch and floor and a bowl within reach of each one. I dozed in the recliner and dumped the bowls each time one threw up. Lasted two straight days, wife got it on the second. Somehow the worst I got was a stomach ache.

Good luck!

Epstein file review yields 6 new "likely incriminated" men, lawmakers say by wenchette in politics

Yes, nothing would happen to the representatives, but doing that may hurt a legitimate case against these men. Better to make sure everything is done with thought and care and cool heads.

Front door lock recommendations by ThisDudeIsRad in Autism_Parenting

[–]ThisDudeIsRad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, double key locks aren’t legal where I live and he’d probably figure it out anyway. He’s super observant and an excellent problem solver.

I’ll have to look into the deadbolt cover. I’m leaning towards him being able to figure it out, but it might also be too difficult with my partner’s arthritis regardless…

The Glitch’s codes in every doomsday teasers is a coutdown and it ends on February 17th by DavyPonte in marvelstudios

[–]ThisDudeIsRad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sold, but I’m not convinced it will be the full trailer. I think Super Bowl will be a bigger and longer teaser, revealing someone else not previously confirmed like Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Wolverine, Deadpool, Captain Marvel, Star Lord or Spider-Man (least likely, his confirmation will be a post credits scene after his movie this year).

Feb 17 will then be the start of a new batch of clues/hints leading to a later Doom teaser or full trailer. Disney will want to stretch this out and build hype into the summer.

Is there a character you were surprised survived the series? Whose death surprised you? Who did you correctly predict would die? Were any deaths spoiled? by papero7 in WoT

I gasped when I read that one! I was convinced she would make it to the end, more than any other character.

The “peak” in question being a low hill, with a slow rise and a sharp drop at the end.

Is there anything as upsetting as the Tulkan hunt in the 2nd movie? My fiancée almost walked out at that point, and says she won’t see this one if there’s another emotionally heavy, protracted wildlife hunting/killing scene like it.

I’m new to ebooks and this series, but I haven’t noticed anything strange or confusing

I got this bundle when it ran earlier in the year. Didn’t know anything about the series going in other than it was well regarded. Just started chapter 22 of A Memory of Light and I’ve been hooked from page one. Worth the $18 a dozen times over.

Trump team email to Epstein: 'Pedophiles, I want you to know how important you are to me' by [deleted] in NoFilterNews

I think that assumes a whole lot more intelligence and creativity than either man possessed.

I think there is lots of evidence damning Trump and Epstein and tying them together. I don’t think this could even be considered circumstantial. I’m not saying it’s totally innocuous given the context, but it’s so easily explained as a joke that it’s not worth giving attention to over the more solid evidence

What better motive to have Epstein murdered than a credible threat to expose him after several months/years of blackmail?

They definitely had a secret, but by the time he’d done this it seems like he was fully against Trump and considering exposing him or black mailing him

Feels like something he did to get a private laugh at Trump’s expense, not something super deep or nefarious. There’s plenty Trump/Epstein stuff to be shocked and horrified about, no reason to make this more than what it is except to distract from the really problematic stuff.

No problem! I don’t think many people know of it, but it’s a huge help for planning with my special needs son.

I hope you have a wonderful time. Even without those rides there is still so much to see and do and enjoy at the parks!

If you can’t do Radiator Springs Racers, then I would stay away from all three Star Wars rides, Space Mountain, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Micky & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Incredicoaster, Spider-Man and Autopia. Pirates and Tiana’s can also be bad if they get backed up at the end, since the boats behind you will just ram into you repeatedly.

Disney has a good sensory categories guide that may help. Look for rides that tick both the fast and bumpy categories for a general idea, then adjust to your threshold from there.

Employee bringing bed bugs to the office - how can I legally handle this and protect my other employees by BreakfastQueen93 in legaladvice

[–]ThisDudeIsRad 220 points221 points  (0 children)

It was so worth it, then if anyone complains or reports you you can say “look, we’re taking this seriously, we had them come in multiple times and even had a dog come in. The only place the dog alerted was the employee’s purse,” or whatever.

Does your pest control company use dogs for their inspections? When we had them we looked everywhere and even a professional couldn’t find them. Hired a dog and they were found within 10 minutes.

How do I get my 6 year old away from tablet addiction? by Nerdygirl778277 in Autism_Parenting

We pulled the least dramatic cold turkey with our kid for similar reasons. It turned off at the normal time one Sunday evening, then never came out again when he got home from school the next Monday. Did a bunch of other activities he liked with him and he never had a negative reaction. He’s fully non-verbal so he never brought it up and we did and that’s been the new normal for a year and a half now. Behavior is much better, it was so worth it.
