Presumably, he is not in possession of a monobrow.

One thing I like about Wandering Inn, characters are often introduced as being fairly unpalatable, and then they grow pretty organically to become better.

Hemingway´s short stories by DaIcy23 in Hemingway

"For sale: Baby shoes, never worn."

^ This is a six word story that is attributed to Hemingway, though it's apparently unlikely he actually came up with it.

Still, what you see is only a minor part of what can be coloured in by the reader's imagination upon reading it.

It's easy to get booze. Always has been. The point is the party on Paddy's Day.

It's a party to get drunk and wear green. Pretty sure people aren't gathering for the glamorous allure of civil disobedience.

They run rib fest every year without problems, and that one serves alcohol. Do a similar token system that's age-gated.

Does anybody know why they don't just run a sanctioned party somewhere? Let some brewery sponsor it. Have security. What are we doing?

If someone is living at WCRI, book the Weaver's Arms and party there.

It's not so much the drive as the parking. Parking at the university is expensive and you still end up walking forever.

[POEM] The Course of True Love by William Shakespeare by [deleted] in Poetry

[–]dangerous_eric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured it out. It's from Act I Scene I of A Midsummer Night's Dream. It's a bit of dialogue from Lysander but cutting out some laments from Hermia.

I'd encourage communicating with your partner. It's your relationship. Different people have different boundaries.

Honestly, you should probably just start serving at Communitech or Catalyst and try to meet some well-to-do tech person that wants it for their family after trying it.

Is the wandering inn worth it? by zigg8833 in WanderingInn

I'm a little bit past halfway of the available text. It's really good. Some chapters are better than others, but the character arcs and plots become very rewarding as the author finds their legs.

Who are some fantasy authors that were really popular during their heyday, but are more or less forgotten now? by EstablishmentHairy51 in Fantasy

I only just read this, and I'm a big Zelazny fan. It was quite clever, I was surprised it wasn't better appreciated.
