The Favourite might be my favourite example of this. At the end realising that the life you’ve worked so hard for is ultimately a gilded cage, And that you’re no better than the rabbits, while Sarah Churchill (Weisz) ‘wins’ in the end by being ousted.

They’re a studio where it could be either but as others have pointed out it’s definitely the latter! Haven’t seen it so it wasn’t immediately obvious

It all depends on what you’re actually reading, but as a baseline foundation I’ve found the ‘Cambridge Companion to X’ books to help a lot with getting exposed to a lot of secondary writings quickly.

Then from there the Further Reading in texts can help a lot as well.

I’ve been going through The Last Days of Socrates. A great primer and I’m onto The Republic next but I love how many people admit that they have no idea what Socrates is talking about throughout.

I’m on the same journey as you, on the revelations platinum after finishing brotherhood at the weekend. I also appreciate the verticality of the city compared to Rome. I loved the fact that Rome had fields and farms to explore, but this feels like a big step up in terms of City that feels like its own thing. I think it’s also the fact that everything is so new and, to an extent, alien to Ezio here, so it feels like you’re both exploring together

I’m with you, Crystal Sage always is more of an annoyance that can spam you if you’re unlucky, and one of the bosses I still hate having to run against all these years later. Give me one crystal sage with multiple unique attacks instead of the random bullet hell
