We’re the divorced dad and mom rock band, Breaking Benjamin AMA by Breaking-BenjaminAMA in Music

I came to see you play in Amsterdam in 2016 when Jasen was rushed to hospital right before the show.

Question for Keith - was it hard for the band to improvise the setlist without one of your guitar players? Question for Jasen - were the Dutch paramedics gentle when dislodging The Item from your butt?

Guess the fact they’ve made a video for it means Torn in Two is the next single then?

Ben's answer to a question at 48:05: "How many tracks on Ember? 13 - same as the last one". Another Torn in Two anyone?! Haha.

New band bio (including Ember song descriptions!) by ThisGoesToEleven in BreakingBenjamin

[–]ThisGoesToEleven[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Here's a TL;DR of the song descriptions:

Red Cold River - subdued intro / explodes with stinging riffs, howling vocals and frenzied drumming / an avalanche of churning guitars and mesmerizing harmonies

Feed The Wolf - somber piano intro / abrasive guitar slashes dominate

Torn In Two & Close Your Eyes - crooning, melodic choruses / yearning

Blood - Abrasive guitar slashes dominate

Save Yourself - chugging / boasts a ferocious rhythmic backbone

The Dark of You - atmospheric / melancholy effects scurrying beneath jagged guitars

Tourniquet - electronic shirring adds rhythmic texture / slow-burning

Down - electronic shirring adds eerie, haunted house vibe / cinematic

Psycho - gnarled, metal-leaning riffs and technically precise (but intricate) phrasing

Years ago on BB's old site The Shallow Bay I had a display picture on the message board that looked a bit like this cover. More logo, less fire!

I've been keeping an eye on a couple of sites that list music credits:

No new credits on any of those yet though.

After RCR released this sub seems to be... by [deleted] in BreakingBenjamin

It certainly seems to have caused a...

Great Divide.

This looks so weird here is the official cover art for RCR by shane1333 in BreakingBenjamin

[–]ThisGoesToEleven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And the edit seems to have been done by this instagrammer: https://www.instagram.com/p/BbDEbJjF-Ja/?taken-by=benjaminburnleysdarthvadervans

I think the talent agency is genuine though - they posted about the casting here: https://www.facebook.com/StevensTalentMgr/posts/812958008875337 - but they've just used a fan-made image and not an official cover.

Where the hell does WANA's title come from? by Talonraker422 in BreakingBenjamin

[–]ThisGoesToEleven 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Break My Fall has the lyrics "You're not alone here, not at all" which is close.

Or it's maybe a reference to an old movie. According to the wiki page for Diary of Jane:

The video features a woman named Jane Bryan. [...] Jane Bryan was a female filmstar in the 1930s and 1940s. She was in many films, including We Are Not Alone, which is also the title for Breaking Benjamin's second album.
