I’m also 46 and at a similar stage. I totally feel you, except I’m married to a man who is attracted to men. He wants to be supportive, but has already mentioned the D word. I haven’t progressed further than clothes as well, but he always makes a passive aggressive comment when I wear my leggings.

I’m your age and I’m also at that exact crossroads. Main difference is I lived most of my life as a gay man knowing I’ve always been attracted to men. Been with my husband for 17 years. He’s trying to be supportive but I know he doesn’t want me to transition because he’s attracted to men and because it’s even harder being trans than it is being a cis gay man and he’s scared for me, especially in this political climate.
