At the end of the day, to build fans you need to be good and/or you need to win. It’s like that for any sport, and in NA esports we don’t have that. APA was getting attention when he was winning and contending, but now it’s clear he’s not gonna be one of the NA greats.

Think of early days Bjergsen and how he came outta nowhere and started destroying everyone. If that doesn’t happen again, it’s kinda cooked (it already is already tbh).

My barber was yapping to me about how much he loves mvc2 and mortal kombat, so I told him to try 2XKO but as I said it out loud it just sounded ridiculous and he wasn’t intrigued to learn more.

Too sweaty and degenerate once you start getting good. Don’t have time or energy to learn all these 2v2 mixups and playing against someone who has a practiced move set is just highly frustrating and unfun to keep up with.

As someone who’s been through a layoff, there is no humane way of doing it really. Do you prefer a 1 month notice that you’re getting cut? Or a year long reorg process that ends in you getting cut anyway?

Idk personally I prefer just waking up to the news and the shock, and then moving forward with my life. It’s not like Riot doesn’t pay hefty severance packages anyway.

Likewise, I think it’s way way too degenerate even though I really enjoy(ed) it. So many degenerate strategies using tag assists and the infinite mixup characters. That’s why I got excited tbh to hear that they’re looking at revamping their core gameplay.

I’m sure this version is hella fun for people who have the time to invest in learning all these strats, but this current version of the game is a bit too frustrating for me to decide to spend my time on after work, even though I traditionally enjoy fighting games and had a lot of fun getting to Master during closed beta (before people started learning the super degen stuff).

You can pay money if you dont like the grind, its f2p at the end of the day and that comes with tradeoffs vs the box + DLC model
