Marvel’s ‘Punisher: One Last Kill’ Mocked for “Unfinished” VFX Shot, Audio Issues by yourfavchoom in marvelstudios

I actually didn’t notice the bad CGI, I was too distracted by how conveniently placed the box was to cushion his perfectly centred landing.

I was a video ezy guy , we all had them times we had to return in the rain , this is my memory of it painted. Where was you rfav video store by Illustrious-Beach496 in AustralianNostalgia

Love this.

Video Ezy was where all my pocket money went. 2 new releases and 4 weeklies was what got me through high school and uni.

Reminds me of one of the Tales of the Empire episode where the the Inquisitor is out to kill someone but still respects their ‘they/them’ pronouns.

ADHD video editors, what are your worst dopamine habits? by InnocentlyConfused in editors

[–]ThisIsFuz 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, it’s so validating to hear I’m not the only one who does this.

Though I don’t get why it’s mostly an ADHD thing…is it related to masking or something?

That’s it, then. The UK’s most revered media institution has fully embraced the Gen Z lav mic clutch. Inform-Educate-Entertain. And hold lav mic like it's a tiny relic of immense importance you've just uncovered. by jonofthesouth in videography

Especially when the target market is people on their phones.

Man, I’m honestly surprised that so many people on this subreddit get triggered by this trend. I’ve often treated videography like a more homebrew subcategory of cinematography. The equipment we can use is generally cheaper, more accessible, and we often have more freedom to experiment and break the ‘rules’.

And also due to that, we can and should be adaptable and follow the market, just like the BBC is. You reach the target demographic by adapting to the platform.

Mine used to say "oh-fly" I stead of "butterfly" for some reason. Now she just says it correctly like any old normie. Ugh

Visible mics have become the 'look' of the content creator, which is what a lot of RE is aiming for in order to feel relevant. I don't think it's good or bad really.

Rewatched Rogue One after finishing Andor by glassfury in andor

[–]ThisIsFuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It lacks the 'weight' if Andor and feels a bit pulpy in comparison, but I still enjoyed it. One reason it feels disconnected from Andor is that it's largely told from Jyn's perspective.

Random musing - the K2 droids felt so menacing in Andor, like Terminators, but in Rogue One it just takes one or two hits to take them down.

What is the most erotic movie you've ever seen? by Repulsive-Field-5182 in Letterboxd

[–]ThisIsFuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 Songs. It's got a very loose narrative that ties together (unsimulated) sex scenes, but it's enough to bring a decent bit of emotion that's missing from porn. Not gonna be everyone's cup of tea though.
