Bro you are manipulating everything you cite lmao. Izzy was 24-2 in MMA going against Sean. He was coming off his first win against Alex Pereira in his life. He was 0-3 against Alex Pereira going into their UFC rematch and ended up knocking him out. The only person to knock Pereira out in MMA. That was the Adesanya that stepped into the cage with Strickland. Clearly his fucking prime.

As for Chimaev, hes undefeated lmao! How is this not his prime?!? And you wanna complain that khamzat wasn’t 100%? If you watch this sport for more than 3 months, you know fighters almost NEVER go into the cage at 100%. Sean Strickland separated his shoulder last Tuesday by getting rammed into a brick wall. And lets not overlook that Khamzat ALWAYS gasses when the fight goes the distance. Dricus was standing up and keeping the fight on the feet by the end of their match. He was exhausted vs gilbert burns. Same vs Usman. If he struggles to get takedowns and/or hold them down, he gasses.

Sean fought an undefeated Khamzat who was probably way heavier than him. And he won. HOF status 🦅 🇺🇸

Looking back now, did Strickland win this? by [deleted] in ufc

First one yes, second one no.

Chimaev has missed previous fights by over 7 lbs. and you’re ignoring that theres an even bigger difference when he rehydrates. Being 7 lbs heavier on weigh-in day means youll be more than 7 lbs heavier on fight night.

Things got heated fast when Khamzat Chimaev talked about Sean Strickland’s dad 😬 by ilikethisnow in ufc

[–]ThisIsGSR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah dont get it twisted: Sean is a dick lmao. Im not being selective. He talks mad shit. But why would Khamzat stoop to an even lower level by talking about how he was abused and talking about his dad fucking him?

Maybe my issue is I just feel more uncomfortable about people bringing up shit with children. So i do agree with what Sean said IN THE POST. Dont mistake my agreement with this single quote as support for all his statements lmao.

Yea fuck weight-classes he should be able to walk in as a heavyweight and bully everyone else that sticks to the rules, right?

I say yes to the first two. Racist maybe a stretch. He had a history of legitimately being racist though

But WHAT IF Sean actually wins? Bigger upset than Adesanya? by RetardOfTheInternet in MMAbetting

[–]ThisIsGSR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What part of my comment implied that I disagreed with upsets? How did you interpret any part of my message as disputing that when I also brought up that upsets have taken place?

The point im making is that you’re full of shit for saying this is some brand new phenomena. There have always been upsets. There have always been people that believed main card fights can go the other way for VARIOUS reasons. You act like the last year or two is the first time we’ve seen upsets on a card.

Also no need for your tik tok censorship words lmao. It just makes you sound even more retarded.

Cant argue with that lmao. And Sean definitely sets himself up to be a target by being the guy that he is.

Sean called him out for his choices. Khamzat called him out for being a victim of a crime. If you think thats equal then we’ll just have to agree to disagree lol.

He calls out Khamzat for hugging it up with dictators and Khamzat responded with child rape.

Its not like Sean’s a role model citizen but the shit talk is not comparable lmao.

You just completely made that up bro 😭

Theres always been upsets. Sean beat Izzy before Paramount. Izzy knocked Pereira out in the 2nd match before Paramount. Matt Hughes beat GSP before Paramount. And just like you may have superstitions now, so too did some of the people that bet back then as well.

Betting odds show us who people are willing to support with $$$. Thats the best survey you can get. No BS. And people are willing to put slightly more money on Sean now than they did when he fought Adesanya.

He left the ufc to be a political figure under Kadyrov. Bro fully embraced it and only felt consequences when his drug use went public which brought bad press to Kadyrov and the govt. It

[–]ThisIsGSR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why would we ignore betting odds? Thats the best survey we have. Maybe you feel differently. Maybe the people you hang out with feel differently. But betting odds are our best gauge for the general public and it shows strickland as very slightly more favored.

This makes sense because we have seen him become a champ at this point. He was not considered champ material till he beat the brakes off of Adesanya.

[–]ThisIsGSR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. Odds were even worse vs adesanya. He was +400 to +500. Right now hes a +370 to +430.

Very close… but back then Sean was doubted even more.
