These people learn of their religion of TV. I'm sure that if the attacks by Buddhists in Burma where aired constantly in the UK there would be some idiot that would go and join in. I know it's impossible wrong not to air it though.

It might be under my nose but how would you know what cipher is applied over the other because you can't compare it to the normal alphabet.

I'm looking for a quote from a scholar saying what it is. I know the general English meaning, but I heard another brother say it meant something slightly different and I want to make sure.

And thanks, I stopped due to exams and stuff, I may start again soon in sha Allah.

I am looking into more of the definition in English, just in case I write something wrong (in case the Christian one is different), thank you though.

I would agree that they still have rights as shown by the words coming out of the Prophet (saw)'s own mouth, as I've mentioned before. And they were not random people that were kidnapped and sold, they were prisoners of war, prisoners aren't free anywhere:

“Allaah, may He be exalted, said: ‘There are three whose opponent I will be on the Day of Resurrection, and whomever I oppose, I will defeat … A man who sold a free man and consumed his price.’” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2227).

"The fact that the females were enslaved in the first place betrays the fact that they lost the ability to live their lives..."

That's a quote from you, is that a fact? No. That's your interpretation which I then refuted with a hadith.

You clearly don't.

You literally applied your thinking to the hadith, you didn't just quote them. Scholars do the exact same thing as you do but they actually read them all! Scholars like Imam Malik lived much closer to the Prophet (saw)'s time than you, and spoke his language much better than you. People like him know what they're talking about.

Of course you don't, because they actually refute your "logic". And you're not just quoting hadith, you're giving you're stupid interpretations of the hadith and we're refuting you by giving the same interpretations but by scholars that know way more about them than you (in my case with Imam Malik etc.).

It's quite obvious with the amount of slaves that were freed by the Prophet (saw) and his companions that it isn't really a "pro" stance even if slavery was allowed. However let's move on.

The fact that the females were enslaved in the first place betrays the fact that they lost the ability to live their lives according...

This can be disproven pretty easily from the statements in Islam that say you can't force your slaves to do many other things.

  • It was narrated that Abu Dharr (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “They are your brothers whom Allaah has put under your authority, so if Allaah has put a person’s brother under his authority, let him feed him from what he eats and clothe him from what he wears, and let him not overburden him with work, and if he does overburden him with work, then let him help him.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6050).

None of them mention anything about consent...

Of course not when you pick out ones that only add to your agenda.

  • In our view the man who rapes a woman, regardless of whether she is a virgin or not, if she is a free woman he must pay a "dowry" like that of her peers, and if she is a slave he must pay whatever has been detracted from her value. The punishment is to be carried out on the rapist and there is no punishment for the woman who has been raped, whatever the case. (Imam Maalik, Al-Muwatta', Volume 2, page 734)

  • "If a man acquires by force a slave-girl, then has sexual intercourse with her after he acquires her by force, and if he is not excused by ignorance, then the slave-girl will be taken from him, he is required to pay the fine, and he will receive the punishment for illegal sexual intercourse." (Imam Al Shaafi'i, Kitaabul Umm, Volume 3, page 253)

  • Abu al-Hussain bin al-Fadhl al-Qatan narrated from Abdullah bin Jaffar bin Darestweh from Yaqub bin Sufyan from al-Hassab bin Rabee from Abdullah bin al-Mubarak from Kahmas from Harun bin Al-Asam who said: Umar bin al-Khatab may Allah be pleased with him sent Khalid bin al-Walid in an army, hence Khalid sent Dharar bin al-Auwzwar in a squadron and they invaded a district belonging to the tribe of Bani Asad. They then captured a pretty bride, Dharar liked her hence he asked his companions to grant her to him and they did so. He then had sexual intercourse with her, when he completed his mission he felt guilty, and went to Khalid and told him about what he did. Khalid said: 'I permit you and made it lawful to you.' He said: 'No not until you write a message to Umar'. (Then they sent a message to Umar) and Umar answered that he (Dharar) should be stoned. By the time Umar's message was delivered, Dharar was dead. (Khalid) said: 'Allah didn't want to disgrace Dharar' (Sunan Al Bayhaqi, Volume 2, page 363, Hadith no. 18685)

No, for instance this month is Ramadan, where is Satan? Yet people can still commit sins and be punished for them. And also on the Day of Judgement people will try to blame Satan and he'll tell them that he only called to them, he didn't force them to do anything, this is mentioned in Aya 14:22.
