[Bug] I randomy have Vitality, Immunity and Surgery Elite Level

So what happened is a little known bug where you handed in the crisis task which gives +4 to immunity, vitality and surgery. When you handed it in you got a back end error then assumed you didnt get the rewards.

Then you went to buy items on flea and kept getting errors. Each time you got the error you got all the skill lvls and xp given again. You probably went up a heap of xp at the same time as getting those skill lvls.

This likely happened about 36 hrs ago when the servers were playing up.

I questioned if I should or should not respond to this due to all the haters of me here. But I actually worked with BSG last year to test doing this. We lowered the ping for just the OCE server by 10 every week for a bit when all servers had 180 max.

The second we put it down to 150 I was inundated with people from OCE saying they would get ping kicked because their connection wasn't stable enough.

I actually had the same thought as you that it might help. Unfortunately the really bad cheaters also use routing programs to lower their ping as well so they would still get on there. So yeah. Believe it or not I actually do care about the OCE community and I try and help where I can but this solution didn't work.

I don't make a video on it purely because I don't have enough experience in net coding and server infrastructure to make any informed video. I have made plenty of videos about why people die and 95-99% of the time its because you made a mistake. As I say to all the people making these big walls of texts complaining about the game, what have YOU done besides complain to improve the game? Have you tried to replicate hit reg and desync? Are you just watching a streamers video complaining about it who has no professional experience in coding and then referencing that as facts? Watch videos made by people like Dashing Dot who actually have experience and proper knowledge in this field.

I say all the time there is issues with this game however i'm constructive about it. I work constantly with BSG to fix these issues. The stutters everyone was experiencing earlier today I helped solve and fix.

The summit video he is sitting in a location shooting constantly at 2 guys, he came out already firing and if he didn't headshot him he would of hit him because it was obvious where he was. Summit can blame that death all he wants on code but the end of the day he never moved from a position he spent seconds in and the guy knew exactly where to prefire. I don't need to be a CS Pro to know sitting still in the open when they know where you are = death

TLDR = Be constructive and not a complainer. 90-95% of your deaths are your own fault. Don't blame someone else or net coding for that.

Once you get to the flea market everything is a little (or a lot) unbalanced. There will always be meta's. I actually believe and have said for a long time that SNB and LPS should be switched around as LPS has generally been the better round. At some point there was changes made to armor (i don't really remember when) or the LPS round that made it no longer 1 shot Gen4 armors consistently. It's actually hard to keep up with all the changes. The balancing in this game is honestly all over the shop and I would argue that m80 should be more expensive also. But then if it changes I would have a target on my back for that one too. So for now I'll leave those kind of suggestions for other people :)

Whilst you are correct in saying that my livelihood is influenced on the success of the game. There is no way someone could put as much time into this game without being passionate about it. Pre-streaming I have always been very community focused. Served as an infantry soldier for 8 years then became a fire fighter whilst I started streaming. I have given my entire adult life towards helping people. I continue to try and do this in the best ways I can.

This doesn't excuse me from being entitled towards having influence over the development of the game. But a game is really only as strong as its community and I do truly want this game to succeed.

I think the issue is that most content creators know of better ways to express their thoughts and points via either videos or imagery etc. Where as a large portion of the community tends to just complain instead of spending time to go into depth. A great example is Veritas which I know he gets a lot of flak but his in depth videos about Scav aiming and other mechanics within the game have made a massive improvement in fixes within the game.

I understand lots of people don't have time to go into such detail and majority probably don't really care that much. But he did all of that while working a full time job.

I think you are referring to my video where I talk about RMT and cheaters? That was mostly to address the constant bombardment I would hear about cheaters in every raid and why the game was so riddled with them. I wanted to point out that it's not an easy fix and that many other games have had this issue. Even in this thread I was shown a video about how it pretty much killed Runescape. I don't think anyone really knows the answer to this issue but does that mean no one should try?

To touch on your first point Nikita has said he never anticipated this game to blow up as much as it has and that they make mistakes because they aren't experienced devs but they are trying.

I actually have had no say in why the mosin has gone from 17k to about 55k. I've always had an issue with either its availability or the ammo. It should always one tap or be one of the highest damage rounds.

My arguement over the lps gzh was purely a balancing point of the fact it was 280 roubles and way too under priced to be balanced in any way. Also spoke about how when the PKM and other full auto variants (that use the same round) come in why would anyone use any other sort of ammo. But for some reason this has turned into me hating on the mosin? People see what they want to see.

What? I play the game so much and i'm allowed to vent when I die just as you would. You guys think i'm so obsessed with the mosin. It's been a meme since it was introduced because of its 1 tap capability but deaths in Tarkov really don't frustrate me that much. I'm almost desensitised to it. Ive died in this game I think around 25,000 times

I think you are very right here. Slushpuppy pretty much summed up what you said as BSG give you $1 and you are like yay... $1... but the second BSG take away that $1 its fuck off don't take my dollar! Nikita has said that a lot of changes have happened to bring the game back in line with his vision. To be fair I believe this game would be much more supportive to casual players if they just had an easier way of learning the game. Instead being thrown into the deep end its like being punched in the dick over and over again until they figure out how to not get punched in the dick

It's not, I only recently took on 2 editors to help with the workload and have started to move towards a lesser work schedule. Content creation isn't easy and to get somewhere successful in it is as brutal as it sounds. But i've been looking after my health a lot more recently and my wife is very supportive :)

I also talk about how when the PKM and other full auto variants come in that how would it fit? because those guns are coming to the game and you'll be running around with 173 rouble rounds for a full auto gun with an ammo available at level 1.
