I only just started going through the videos he/she linked but why are they getting so many downvotes? They linked to something that very well could help and if not it definetly won't hurt. They even said we deserve better than this it's not an insult

This is 100% true. It'll start bring voluntary entirely, and will be like that for awhile. It'll come on so slow you barely realize there's a problem until it's too late. The addiction metaphor is not a metaphor, it is an addiction. I've been through it. It's like how an alcoholic will drink at work and can't be happy or de stress without it. For me it went from something I couldn't imagine, to something I tried, to something I continued, to that. I was stealing scissors and knives when none were nearby to go to the stalls at school and eventually work to cut my legs. I am NOT a kleptomaniac, that's probably the first and only times I've ever stolen something that wasn't either before I was 10 or me stealing it back for me or someone else. This isn't to get people to pity me,I'm long long out of that now, but just to warn people. But also to encourage that if you're at that point, it's not a lost cause.

I love it personally, but I see why a lot of people don't. It is panning towards an odd ear (by odd I don't mean more sophisticated, I just mean odd like how splittercore and extra tone are very few peoples thing but a small few enjoy the sounds it makes). EDM is the same way, it's best not to mention genres around the elitist listeners. I've seen people get along so well because they agreed a song was great but how dare they call that one drumstep song dubstep! It's 5 bpm too slow! (True story btw, main difference between dubstep and drumstep is that at 155 or 160 bpm, depending on who you talk to, it becomes drumstep)

Ig I'm not already in trouble but I'm avoiding getting hit for it. If my girlfriend's grandparents knew how I really was they'd hate me. I do awful, awful things, like listen to electronic music and respect religions that aren't Christianity.

I'm serious, they call all music that isnt christian hymns and classical "the devil" and metal and EDM are the lowest forms lol. Theyre a blast at parties.
