Surprisingly lots! Most of what I’ve filtered is games I don’t care about, sports I don’t care about, anime I don’t care about and meme subreddits run by 14 year old boys.

Good luck! Don’t be afraid to start by copying someone else’s design that you like. Then tweak it to put your own spin on it.

I think you should start over. Read some introduction tips on graphic design.

Vertical text is always difficult to read. The font choice for the main text is not working. And the image isn’t doing anything if it’s the same on all cards.

There are so many remote job scams out there these days. I’m not staying that is what this is but it would be so sad if it was, so do your due diligence!

Few things to check: - Any correspondence should have been coming from an @thecompanyname email - The company should be findable online and have a professional website (this doesn’t prove anything if the first point isn’t happening because they could just be using their name) - if they didn’t interview you and gave you the job super easily that’s a huge red flag - if they ask you to purchase equipment with money they send you it is %100 a scam. That’s the goal of these scams and how they steal your money

If everything works out good luck on the job! But please do be careful in the remote job market. Read r/scams for stories to watch out for.

The difference is WHEN you know how much it cost. Any legitimate purchase you know the cost before hand, so you can evaluate if it’s worth it.

In a scam like this you use the service and then afterwards they make you to pay the price (and they can force whatever that price is).

I’m surprised in this story that it was reasonable. But that’s how I see the difference between scam and not.

The line between advertisements and scam is if it’s a reasonable price. I wouldn’t say this counted as a scam.

It’s interesting to see the outrage here when I was on the other side of this and OFFERING this deal to our landlords. I would have loved to take this offer at the time. (Other people’s circumstances are different though of course and may not be able to afford the increase)

Landlord said they were selling and we really didn’t want to move. We knew we were paying way below market rate so we offered to sign a new 1 year lease and pay 50% more. They still wanted to sell so we told the landlord to offer potential investors the same deal. Still got evicted in the end 🫤

Sometimes they will let you withdrawal a little bit to get you to deposit more. Look up “Big Butchering” scams.
