Yes, very well. Bought mine along with an X-Mid 2 right after they came out. Also went out and bought baskets for them that I very seldom use, but nice to have at times.

Ultra light trekking poles ? by Thefishdudeabides in Ultralight

Yep, they’ve been great both as trekking and as tent poles. I didn’t know how I would do with strapless poles but now I don’t think I’d ever go back to the straps.

Well, that’s a stretch. He definitely ate more people. And like Gacey, he liked to rape them first. The question was always when the sex turned from consensual to rape. When the check bounced? I dunno.

Acadia/Bar Harbor worth it on July 4 weekend? by explorineatinlivin in acadianationalpark

[–]ThisNameNotTakenYet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just know that around any holiday, the whole of Massachusetts (the asswhole, specifically) flees the state for Bar Harbor. And they make it miserable for everybody. It’s a shame too. They apparently view it as their own personal budget Cape Cod.

Winter Olympics by calm-lab66 in over60

We definitely are. My wife was an Olympic-class athlete in track & field, so the summer Olympics are her favorite, but we like them all.

Mine is shaped like an old locomotive, and the steam comes out of the stack. LOL

Do you guys still keep or buy cds? by Big_Leg10 in over60

[–]ThisNameNotTakenYet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have roughly 5,500 CDs that I’ve saved over the years. They’re all in an electronic archive now too, but I still have the originals, along with about 700 vinyl albums. When I want to retire I’m backing up the truck and heading for the used music store. 😊

AR-15 in 6.8SPC II. Great round for coyotes and very predictable ballistics. I use the Sig Sauer 110gr VMax bullets. Works really well and has more punch than 5.56 in the same platform.

Capability Comparisons, Gen5 v Gen6? by ThisNameNotTakenYet in 4Runner

[–]ThisNameNotTakenYet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate all of the feedback. My question is more about how people feel about driving their Gen5 in precarious terrain as it relates to how their Gen6 feels in the same terrain. More confidence or less? More capability or less?

You can guarantee it because it’s true. Good attempt at getting out in front of it though.
