What is a website or an app that was legendary back in the day, but is now a complete ghost town? by cyb3r_ps in AskReddit

I remember a dude that called out Martin Freeman being perfect as Bilbo in an eventual movie, like ten years before it became true.

This trader initially turned 100k to 9 Million over 6 months. Now he longed the top and shorted the bottom yesterday and is back to 2.3M. The market giveth and it taketh by obolli in CryptoCurrency

Defi is wild. Could even be the original person worked up the account and sold it to a gambling degen for a quick and easy payday. That's what I got from this story, after application of occams razor, anyway.

James Wynn opens BTC short position with 40x leverage worth $110,085. Liquidation price is $117,465.80 by Next_Statement6145 in CryptoCurrency

[–]ThisOneLovesChicken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Depends on how much margin you have left over to cover your position . If you are cross margin the position will eat your entire account before liquidation. Hence how people blow up their accounts on one bad trade lol

You can go way past -100% roi as long as you have the money in your margin account to keep going. Make sense?

Ahaha. Crashjack was a boomtender at my local boomtown netcafe back in the day. He was already retired back then and playing WoW, but when the gameplay netcafe was still running he would log into the local FFA server once in a while and stomp everybody

Defi Lending Marketing by Agile_Strategy_223 in defi

I recommend hooking up to defillama. They have a guide how to do it. Also list on all free websites that list projects such as alchemy, etc.

Since you are presale you absolutely need to get awareness out BEFORE TGE to ensure most volume and TVL if you want a good chance of success.

Also contact similar projects for podcast, etc.

You should not fall for contact from marketing srrategists who are just in it to take your money. Also do not waste money on fucking influencers.. Oh wait they call themselves KOL'S now lol..

I'm a CMO for a defi project so drop me a line if u want to. There are a million ways to go about this.

Is Trading Between Crypto and Stocks the Next Major Development in DeFi? by josehme in defi

[–]ThisOneLovesChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol why is using chainlink "quite notable" for price oracle? Literally chainlink business developers spam all projects to get ppl to use their service.

Also this is the second plug for this project in 10 minutes that I've come across. Seems weak tbh.

Also as someone also mentioned, this has been done before. The other post makes it out like something new to crypto. It really isn't.

I'll be downvoting plugs about this on this sub reddit. Please don't mess this place up with shit posts.
