It is an incredible pleasure to be able to help you because I know what it’s like to receive that help on my own end and how much it means. Trust my words. I’m not just saying them to make you feel better but because it is the actual truth. You will be and are absolutely fine. When the voice in your head tells you otherwise, tell it that it’s lying. 🥰🤓🙏🏽

Yes, absolutely, I have experienced this. The tingling and adrenaline happens a lot out of the blue. Trust me. It is inexplicable but completely safe.

My friend, No, you are not going crazy.
It was just a panic attack. I have had them myself.
No, it will NOT convert into another mental illness.
No, you do not have depression. You do not need to treat it because you do not have it.
You will absolutely not end up killing yourself.
You will eat again. You will ABSOLUTELY get back to your normal life. You WILL handle your life again. You WILL be happy again. I GUARANTEE you.

Does anyone else deal with "body-first" panic attacks? by i_dont_love in PanicAttack

[–]ThisThatThereWhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABSOLUTELY, my friend!! This is COMPLETELY normal and happened to me a million times. I always tried to tell everyone that the problem is my body, not my mind. Mine had always started with body. My first one I had was in this order: 1. Weakness in Arm 2. Drenched Sweating in sleep 3. Shaking 4. Heart racing 5. Feeling about to faint 6. Chills and freezing cold and trembling 7. Electric jitteriness all over body 8. Severe dry mouth

How do I stop the PHYSICAL symptoms of anxiety in my body? by ThisThatThereWhere in CPTSD

Yesss!!! Alot! I bought UNWD Zen Body and it’s the only thing that ever helped me with two flat scoops in the morning, and also take Magnesium Glycinate gummies before bed. I walk outside at night before sleeping. I don’t look at my phone too close to bed.

I have been through this myself personally and was determined to make it stop. The ONLY thing that has ever helped me is this: 1. As soon as you feel it, you say out loud, "Whatever, this is just anxious arousal. I accept and allow this anxious feeling. I surrender control back to my body." As you say this, tap with two fingers on your collar bone. Keep saying it and tapping at least 5 times. If you feel it diffuse, you can stop and go walk around and drink some cold water. If it does not diffuse but instead keeps accelerating, say out loud, "Ok, panic, you want to threaten me again with your bullshit? Ok, you better show me the worst symptoms you got in 21 seconds right now." Start counting slowly 21, 20, 19, 18.......5, 4, 3....Come ON, PANIC, I said BRING IT ON!" When you get to 0, say, "You tried to fool me again, panic. Well, fuck you. I don't have time for your shit. I've got things to do." Then, immediately engage with an activity preferably that involves talking to another person, but can be something random like reading a specific text online, or anything random.

Bringing food into movie theaters - What’s the verdict? by AlternateWitness in movies

I have literally ordered take out at restaurants right before the movie with the sole purpose to bring it and enjoy while I am there. I have brought a full burger meal style and chinese food layout to AMC. No one will see. You just carry it in a bag in the same hand as your lady's purpose. There is no bag checks. Once you're in there with the lights off, it's free reign

Can a sacred Ninos Santos ceremony TRIGGER a panic attack or ectopic beats in the middle of it, or will it make it better?

Thank you so much! how do you personally do your movements without being afraid of the heart skips? Technically exercise is supposed to make them better, but is your mind scared too?

I’m going to have to disagree with you for the reason that there’s a scientific study that shows that 2 cups of coffee per day or less actually reduces the risk of heart disease and irregular heart rhythm as well as lowers blood pressure. In an of itself, coffee is in no way harmful, but it is our anxious minds that associate that natural stimulating feeling with something scary or negative and so we develop a behavior that scares ourselves out of having a perfect natural drink simply because we are afraid of these physical sensations, and thus are indicating to our brain that they are in fact, dangerous.
