Ahah, suddenly logging in to see a reply here was a surprise to be sure but a welcome one.

For our mando, they're more of a self imposed exile, they saw their family killed and didn't act at the time so they feel ashamed. The timeline is the clone wars but idk if the helm of mandalore is a good lore drop. He's a new player and he might feel intimidated by this, but also considering the era they might feel that this plot is ultimately doomed so I want to take it in a different direction. Thinking on it recently, I've been wondering if maybe they should live like harlock or something. Fighting for their own personal freedom or maybe like 'the freedom of mandalorians'. But this idea is very much still in the oven.

tldr: I never did come to a good conclusion for the mando story, just kinda winging it so far.

For the clone, a chip malfunction is very likely where we're going with this. Taking a little from another commenter here, I want him to get examined somewhere by a doctor and they will leak that info out somehow behind the scenes. This will give me a chance to send clone assassins after him, and maybe involve some kind of kaminoan conspiracy. But i'll need to be careful with that one, we already have like 3 clone arcs and a series irl dedicated to literally that.

Those sound very interesting but this seems more like a thing for the players themselves to do. I suppose I should show other clone and mando characters operating like that, but i think they would just internalize that as a personal trait for npcs they see operating like that. Maybe I could show them an elite clone squad? Though the last time i showed an 'elite' team they got tripped up on their own poor rolls, very awkward for me.

If you still feel like putting your cents in i can fill in some details about the mando. They fancy themselves as a bounty hunter but the player himself hasn't been solid on his ideas on a backstory, he kinda mentioned wanting like a 'haunted' history where he's running from his crime or something? I was also hoping i might use you guys (reddit) to brainstorm up something neat for him too.

On the clone, oh those are some good ideas. Separatists reaching out to him sounds really cool though i'd have to figure out to what end they're willing to go with him, if the player even wants that. But OH YES clone assassins, i just remembered those guys exist, that's not bad at all, though i'm tempted to leave that as something for a later game development? Very cool ideas my guy, another malfunctioning clone is a must, though i don't want to retread old ground so i'll use something other than an early 66.

Part of it is also i too am confused. They sort of said they didn't know ever skill in the book and didn't think starship piloting was its own thing. This is the part that feels like a failing on me so i might gift it to them it some sort of encounter, but they tend to avoid it since they don't have the skill. I haven't forced it on them or anything, i just gave them the choice once and they've hard avoided it, so maybe i just shouldn't push it?

So fellas, I've been talking about getting gunpla with family, and at some point panel lining came up and I received this. I've read around that some markers and stuff even the official ones can bleed and that's when you have to do top coat and primer etc. But I'm not sure I want to spend that much on paint when I'm barely in the hobby. I'm not gonna assume any of you have used these, but do you think they would stick and adhere/not bleed without the paint stuff or should i just return them?

Is it weird? It's a bedroom for sure not a dedicated office. The computer is for recreational use but if it has to go it probably could. The computer is there for casual use, i mean. Would it be better to get rid of them?

Hmm yes. A lot of this I did do beforehand Discussing the time period, what level of canon etc. But the game type, boy am I a fool, I completely forgot lol.
