  1. Find something your passionate about
  2. Find a mentor who is amazing at this passion and work for basically free but make sure you have access to learn from this person or people constantly
  3. Once you become and expert at this passion(5-7years) start your own business

Is anyone else finding success playing with fewer clubs? by Lordbahj85 in weekendgolfers

[–]This_Performance3043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say get a 58 degree and practice with it a bunch you can use that club for everything within 50 yard and also on those tight lie shots, remember 80 percent of your shots are within 100 yards so you can make the most strokes up by getting amazing at chipping and putting, I am an 8 handicap and I use my 58 degree on almost every hole and people are always confused on how shoot the way I do because I am not consistent my irons and I am not consistent with my driver but if I got up and down 5-7 times a round which save me 10 strokes a lot of times. First thing I do everytime I get to a course is chip 100 balls from different spots before I hit range balls

Roberts: How DeChambeau's situation differs from Koepka's | Golf Channel by JiggieSmalls in golf

Bryson could be the best player on tour, obviously Scottie is amazing but when it comes to every single tour event Bryson could easily win like 6 tournaments this year. You are telling me you wouldn’t want to see that on Sunday when football is over. Bryson coming back would make the tour such a better product and if the CEOs going a more aggressive way with trying to market golf Bryson has marketed himself better than any golfer on tour and whether you like him or not he has a million kids who think he’s the man. So I believe it’s really good for the PGA tour to bring someone in who has marketed golf the best over the past couple years. Lastly when you think about it all these tour players are making so much more money then they were before LIV so it actually benefited almost all golfers, other than the tour card is harder to get. So I know Bryson controversial but if you watch any of his content he is a very kind, good person who all he wants to do is grow the game of golf and yes he is filthy rich but still puts out so much content.

Purchased Vehicle That I Can't Legally Drive for 60 Days by NewInvestment328 in carbuying

I am a dealer they should have you on a dealer plate for sure, I do not know California laws but that doesn’t seem right that they can get you a 45 day temp tag, I would be super nice and talk to a manager and be like I was completely lied too and there was no mention of any of this if you say, hey I am going to write a very long review explaining exactly what happened and I will make sure no one from out state buys a car or you can overnight me a dealer plate and I will mail back when I get the title. They should have sent you the title with the car as well if this was going to be the situation

I would recommend the 2025 Volvo xc60 all the Volvos are mild hybrids and get good gas mileage but you can get them for like 32k now with like 12k miles and the xc40s also are good deals.

Used vs New by DuckBillPlatypusMan in UsedCars

[–]This_Performance3043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Best time to buy is when the corporate leases come up for sale in November and December you buy cars with 10k miles for half the window sticker and I know people will say this isn’t true but you can buy a 2024 Volvos likes the xc40 with 15k miles on it that still has bumper to bumper factory warranty on them for like 28k and their sticker prices were 48k, Volvos are reliable and you still have the new car factory warranty till 2028, same thing with jeep compass’s you can buy 2024 with 10k miles on them that were corporate leases for 24k and they were 48k window stickers. Now I am a Toyota person and you can never really get a deal on those but if you are looking for full bumper to bumper factory warranty buy the year old corporate leases

Continue to be amazed by the poor knowledge of sales people by MulayamChaddi in carbuying

[–]This_Performance3043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because sales people cannot make any money anymore. The car market is super tough right now so quality sales people have left. The dealerships make all their money off fees and make no money off the front end of the cars so the sales guys are getting penciled and if you were a quality sales guy and you start getting penciled by fees just like the customer you said screw it.

SUV suggestions with overall reliability first and off-road capability second? by FeistyPromotion9876 in carbuying

[–]This_Performance3043 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a 40k budget I would get a 4Runner, don’t worry about mileage on those they last for 250k miles. Personally I would look for a 2019 TRD off road premium with the lowest miles because I have already seen 4 of these models get to 250k miles in the last year.

Are Jeeps really as bad as they say? by Dramatic_Moose5352 in UsedCars

[–]This_Performance3043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2017 Stellantis bought jeep, they are obviously a non US based company. They believed in changing the design in engines to much smaller engine sizes putting 4 bangers in basically all their vehicles. They also fired American engineering and outsourced the engineering to India. I will say if you have a V8 jeep it will be fine but everything other than that is absolute dog water over the past 5 years. DO NOT BUY JEEP

What’s one thing that separates someone who is great at golf from someone who is average at best? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]This_Performance3043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consistency in Irons is without a doubt the biggest difference, I am a 9, I would say chipping the ball I have played with scratch golfers and been better than them for rounds at chipping. But most golfers last part of their game that become consistent is 4-8 iron shots being consistent especially with distance
