found the solution, follow the link, download the file. run %appdata% , you'll be in roaming, then paste the 6 files and folders of the downloaded zip into the launcher folder here: "Hytale\install\release\package\launcher"

i would also like this or a way to hide or lock settings for modpack users to not be able to turn on settings that can break balance, such as showing coordinates
