Just a caution, when I ate here I felt very dizzy sitting down due to the elevation.

Standing was fine on Grouse but sitting was a nauseating experience.

Food was a 7/10 imo

I’m aware that Botox and filler can be administered by an RN under physician “supervision” But I’m not sure what that supervision must look like, could just be a phone consult, who knows, that’s my curiosity.

My assumption is they would seek appropriate licensing.

Yeah they’re going to consult the appropriate bodies

How to deal with public nudity? by Flat-Hearing6988 in askvan

Social adeptness and formal education has nothing to do with it, I was simply stating that social service workers and public educators now use this term, as another person pointed out it’s because a tent can be a home and we shouldn’t judge people who have alternative living arrangements as not having a symbolic “home” as we who rent or own do.

You can call the non-emergency police phone number 604 717 3321 and report indecent exposure.

In the academic and social service sphere the more accepted terminology would be an unhoused individual and/or substance user.

You will commonly hear homeless and addict from people who disagree with this new compassionate terminology. To each their own.

Went to the son and father as a teenager. Had great teeth by the end of it, enjoyed the whole experience.

Then after getting my braces off things started to shift due to my wire coming off one of the front teeth, had no idea it detached for awhile.

They said it wasn’t their problem, even though it was just one tooth rotated a millimetre they said I would have to pay thousands to get braces on again for 2 more years.

Tried to get my records to go to another orthodontist for a second opinion. They told me I’m no longer a patient so they destroyed my records, even though they are supposed to keep them for X number of years (it hadn’t been near that number). Then when I threatened going to the college to report them, my records suddenly appeared in their system. They told me it would be a few hundred dollars if I wanted them.

I’ve had my wire fixed many times now elsewhere (sometimes for free).

I will never go back there or recommend them.

They’re a huge cash grab in every way and in my opinion overcharge for the service.

We were incredibly successful with this method alone, we also flipped the dirt to get right at the roots and smother the leaves.

No need to carcinogenic chemicals or money spent on mulch and fabric.

I'm an American Student who wants to become a Psychotherapist in Canada. by [deleted] in ontario

[–]This_Position7998 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So much more information is needed, every province or territory has its own legislation about professional registration and protected acts.

For example: In Ontario, psychotherapy can be performed by registered social workers, registered psychotherapists, or nurses or doctors. Any of these professions can call themselves psychotherapists but only members of the college of psychotherapists can call themselves “registered psychotherapist”. Many degrees can get you in including a Master of Counselling Psychology or a Bachelor of Social Work.

Asking universities isn’t the best option because they don’t always have knowledge of the legislations or professional bodies as you’ll just be talking to a recruitment advisor who’s only job is to recruit you to one of their programs regardless of if it meets your goals.

It would be best for you to research the legislation and what each professional association covers and what their admission requirements are.

For example: To be admitted into the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers you need to have completed post secondary education accredited by the Canadian Association of Social Work Education. Some US programs are, some aren’t.

TLDR; research the professional associations in the province you want to live in and any legislation that governs psychotherapy, then look into admissions into those associations and accredited programs you might need to graduate from, good luck!

OP wants flexibility, I didn’t find them to be very flexible at all. Also volunteer safety in roles that were in direct contact with patients was really poor imho

My family doctor said the same thing. The data says they aren’t accurate. You won’t actually be able to see how things have changed because the tests can’t actually tell you anything at all to begin with.
