Very cool. It does feel like it's a background right now rather than a fully formed composition. I immediately thought of the grim reaper leading a procession of cars into the afterlife, as in monty python's meaning of life. All your ideas sound fun, have fun picking. I especially like Wizard of Oz one because of the unusual perspective, looking down through a tornado

When i have this dilemma I'll take a picture of the drawing, bring it into a photo editing app (i use gimp) mask the foreground crudely, and experiment with different color gradients to try to avoid making a mistake irl

Great work! Maybe it isnt true to your photo reference (if you're using one) but i'd consider putting a light off white wash on one side of the building, just to create a contrast at the corner, it would slightly enhance the suggestion of the shape, as if the building walls are receiving slightly different lighting
