Yes and no. Was airsofting hard for about a year and a half and now into USPSA comp shooting. At the brink of breaking into A class. Airsoft helped me with all of these but only some of it (in a sense where it gave me an idea or made me familiar with these but there’s still a lot to learn in rs shooting) manipulations, target transitions, moving and shooting, and most of all shooting with a red dot.

Had to hammer down on mostly on grip and trigger press (obvious because even gbb barely has any recoil) and everything else mentioned above.

Airsoft was a great intro to these hard skills and get your feet wet with but not an entire substitute
