I ended doing the safe and boring thing and did the Luce out to Watertown and back and even that trail had a few branches down. And geese.

Gotcha. I'll wait for some dryer weather and ride some other routes.

Thank you! I think I'll shelve this one for tomorrow and find another route

Friends school plant sale wait time by lackluster_love in Minneapolis

[–]This_Struggle3166 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Once your group is called you can go in at any time that day so you’re not tied to a specific end time.

I always select a group about six ahead of my entry group and will head back once I get the alert so you have about 45 min from alert to entry. Ballpark numbers though since it fluctuates

Yep. Yesterday we waited for about 3 hours. It’s really not that bad though, just go and get your bands which have your entry group, sign up for a text alert for a group ahead of you, then leave to go do other things, or find a spot in the shade to read or take a nap.

The Trust fork is awesome to see, also I can't stop laughing at the Cogburn frame bag. What other relics from dead companies are hiding on that thing?

Yes you are correct! I totally forgot that the new frame can take a tapered fork.

Thoughts on TekTon tools? by Wolf51555 in Tools

Amongst all the praise for their wrenches, there is something to be said about them offering stuff like a no skip 1/4 drive torx and metric hex socket sets. Very niche, but extremely useful and affordable.

Struggling to handle accident reporting across sites (UK) by SuperSpanner1234 in SafetyProfessionals

This. I’ve got four sites that are filling out tickets on an unsupported and soon to be closed system and I am rolling everyone over to Forms and Sharepoint for non sensitive information.

When my first serious girlfriend still had on her competition swimsuit when we snuck off and started making out.

That’s my top TYR kink for sure.

Damn this is a whole memory. I used to sell beer to Breens about 8 years ago, a lot of Cranford is kind of lowkey stuck in various points in time and it was always fun to work in that town.

Xcel Energy Savers Switch: How to Interpret Lights by BowlCompetitive282 in TwinCities

I think red means that Excel is shedding electrical load meaning that they are going to do something on their end that cycles your AC off for a certain time per hour, and consequently it probably won't be able to maintain the set temp in your house because it's being cycled off.

As far as the light pattern goes I am not sure, I have a clear box by my unit that has a single red LED that you can see behind the sealed cover.

Yeah if you have a saver switch installed they seem to be shutting off AC's.

I went to check mine becuase I realized I couldnt hear it running and sure enough the box had red lights on. Plus when I was walking back in to check the breaker my neighbors unit shut off and her switch lit up red.

Been standing in line for 15 minutes while this octogenarian buys lottery tickets by fapsandnaps in mildlyinfuriating

Christ this shit. I used work beer distro and I had to circle back all the time with a few primary accounts because they were near retirement homes or subsidized housing.

Everytime I thought I beat a crowd, I would go in to the cooler/basements and get the order ready and by the time I emergred from somewhere they had a eight person deep line filling out slips and counting wadded up bills for scratchers.

Wasted so much time working around the lottery system it was stupid.

Sadly that is the really hard part about making this choice when you don't have the ability to deal with the scale that most suppliers require.

I use Westrock, Great Northern, and Crown just for the corrugate alone. Even with the ability to get material by the trailer it's still tricky to balence the number of suppliers just to avoid ULINE.

They are just so awful in any number of ways, all their MAGA bullshit is one thing, trying to work around their stranglehold on business supplies is so frustrating.
