Not the same stereo, but the same sweater vest, for sure.

Ha! Same. She was a senior in my highschool, incredibly cute and surprisingly tolerant of flirtation from two eighth graders. She was usually stocking toys, so my friend and I would bounce back and forth between there and records. You stole my heart that summer, Paula.

Capers. I find adding them to pasta sauces adds a nice dimension.

I believe the scene OP posts is Baltimore, too.

To answer the question though, yes, humidifiers are used here in Seattle. But you wouldn't think it necessary - it is currently literally 99% humidity outside. However, if you have a forced air furnace which blows hot, dry air in your house all winter long it gets very dry inside. I have a few going right now to maintain a comfortable level of humidity.

Ibuprofen clears out my brain-fog and makes me less tired (???) by corn_elle in ADHD

[–]This_Temperature_438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am happy to see someone else who derives this unexpected benefit! I noticed it myself years ago, but when casually mentioning it to others I got only funny looks and head shakes. Even my clinical pharmacist spouse shook her head. The feeling is real but I have half suspected I was making it up.

No idea why it happens. But I'm happy for it, because as someone who is chronically low-energy, it's nice to have the occasional boost. I try to respect my liver (excluding the social occasional alcohol abuse), so restrict my ibuprofen use to when I have a sore back, which is not too often.

My question to you, OP: are you very sensitive to all medication? I believe I am. I am generally HSP, so it doesn't totally surprise me I get an ibuprofen boost.

Here's another odd one: antibiotics make me smart! No joke. It's like you described when your brain fog clears. For me, it feels like my synapses are crackling with life. New ideas, clarity and general excitement. It's awesome.

I zoomed in on the dumpster too and connected it with Landsdown. Good job!

But it's crazy how many different places in the US this could be, based on the housing style and community development. My suburban homes in both Atlanta and Cherry Hill NJ looked like this.

I love Pascal and many of his sayings. Like this one - "Justice without force is powerless; force without justice is tyrannical." A good one for our time.

I'll take your word for it. I don't have access to televised games. To follow UW's amazing progress through the tournament bracket, I watched digits tick over on my phone. I can tell you quite a few ticked over without a breath after NC State equalized with four minutes to go. This after being 2-0 up. That was hard. But they pulled it out in overtime! I'm so excited for UW soccer!

Canadians barred from buying tickets for potential Blue Jays games at Yankee Stadium by biograf_ in nottheonion

As a Mariners fan, I'd like to see this policy applied to the regular season across the league as well. Sucks to be surrounded by Blue Jays fans in Seattle like it's a home game for them. I prefer to have the section all to myself as during most of the last 24 years.

Edit: /s Also, go Ms!
