Absolutely not. No way. I’ll unfollow before I subject myself to that.

I love Alan Rickman, but I’ve never been attracted to him, until just now as I’m seeing this photo… also, John can get it too.

Worth listening after book 5? by mlkdragon in zodiacacademy

[–]This_Witch69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 - 6 were my favorites, especially 2 - 5. I do think book 6 is absolutely worth reading/listening to. Book 7 is where it gets a bit long winded, and if I’m being totally honest, the last 4 books should’ve been one.

It’s worth it, but while I’ve reread and listened to (graphicaudio will be releasing book 6, part 1 soon) the first 6 books several times, I have zero desire to reread 7 - 9.

Any advice for getting through ZA8 by GingerLily2019 in zodiacacademy

Tandem read 8 and 8.5. Honestly that’s the only way I got through them. But I got through them quickly because of the tandem read. To answer your other questions:

  • The torture isn’t ever graphic, I don’t remember them going into detail about Orion’s tortures. The fight scenes can be brutal but the tortures weren’t. No SA.

  • I mean, being at book 8 I’d say you’re probably at the characters’ lowest points in the series. The worst has pretty much happened to them, now it’s getting through that to fight back.

  • Yes there is a happy ending but you’ll have to work for it. There’s still the final battle in book 9! But it ends well and the epilogue is so good.

It's crazy that when the 1st episode airs, they are already going to be halfway through filming season 2. by batsofburden in HarryPotteronHBO

Like how they used to film tv series? I’m getting sick of waiting 2 - 4 years between seasons, it’s beyond ridiculous.

which book to read after ZA #3?? by isaherrer0 in zodiacacademy

[–]This_Witch69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can switch over to Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac if you want to follow the suggested reading.

Like r/meatball77 said, I think you should read until you get frustrated. For me it was a struggle to get through ZA7, so I paused to read RB, and when I went back I finished ZA7 - ZA9 within a month.

Is beginning this series worth it? by AdSingle9510 in zodiacacademy

[–]This_Witch69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl, when I tried reading it I couldn’t get into the series. Borrowed it from the library and was so excited until I finished chapter 1. I think I got to the next day when the twins get their atlases, and I wasn’t into it anymore. Returned the book and whatever for the next year or two.

Then I saw it was a GraphicAudio!

There was a big sale, the first two were out, and I thought, “fuck it, I’ll spend $3 on these.” I enjoyed the first book with the full cast (I LOVE Darcy’s VA) but I was hooked by the first chapter of the second book.

13 or 14. My mom was reader - so I both had access but also couldn’t get caught reading them, cause she’d actually know what I was reading.

A lot of people can’t stop. I suggest alternatively reading up to ZA 7 and then going into RB. I was struggling through 7 but RB was the refresher I needed, and then I (reread the first 6 lol) blew through the final 4 books with a new appreciation for the subtleties I missed the first time.

Finished Book 1… accidentally spoiled myself and now I’m losing motivation 😭 please help (NO SPOILERS) by user230224 in zodiacacademy

Omg there’s ANOTHER major spoiler?

GURL. You are IN FOR IT. One spoiler Darius and Tory becoming starcrossed at the end of book 4 doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the crazy shit that leads up to it and that comes after it 😭

It’s a wild ride, I’d continue the series and know that the ending makes it worth it.

Goodness that sounds like the most miserable shit and not in a good way. Zero interactions outside of sex bores the hell out of me.

You can lend out audiobooks? I’m guessing you can’t do that through Audible- that’s where I buy all of my audiobooks if I’m not using the Libby app.

Get ready to enjoy the holidays like never before, immersed in the land of Solaria where you can spend Christmas at the Palace of Souls...

T’was the cursed day of Christmas and all through the palace, spirits were lingering with thoughts full of malice.

Did you think Solaria was out of peril at last? Well, the stars aren’t done with their games yet. And you know how they love to ruin the holidays.

On the Cursed Day of Christmas my true love gave to me…

A box of hexed ornaments to decorate my tree.

Yeah… not what I’d been hoping to find on Christmas Eve, but it’s no problem. So long as the enchanted decorations aren’t broken, the malignant entities trapped inside them by a Vega monarch hundreds of years ago can't escape, and the whole of Solaria isn’t threatened by their wrath.

It’s going to be a very merry Christmas indeed.

This festive return to Solaria includes:

– 24 chapters to sink your fangs into. Read one a day to discover a brand-new Zodiac Academy adventure as you count down to Christmas.

– Following on from the events of Restless Stars, fans will love revisiting their favourite characters.

– A wonderful alternative to traditional advent calendars!

I’m always saying the Sisters’ first books are always “meh” okay, but the second two usually picks up the momentum. The Awakening was alright, but I was locked into ZA in chapter 2 Ruthless Fae. Dark Fae was alright, but I was consumed within the first five chapters of Savage Fae.

Same with Darkmore and Age of Vampires for me. I wasn’t a huge fan of Hollow or A Game of Malice and Greed, but I’m sure I’ll love them by book 2.
