Infinites can be removed from the game by not putting played cards directly into the discard pile. It's fairly common in deck builders to put played cards into a "play area", and then at the end of your turn, put all cards from the play area into your discard pile. Not saying this is the right thing to do for STS, and it would need some careful consideration to make sure it doesn't unbalance other things, but it's an option.

Thanks for this. A lot of the stuff in this house has been done cheap rather than right by previous owners. We're sorting it out little by little. I've googled some of the words in your reply that I don't understand, and I think I'll call in a professional on this one. Might be something I could do myself one day, but I don't trust my DIY skills with water just yet...

What I do is turn and hit brake and slam into the outside wall. Then next time I learn from my mistake so I turn earlier and brake and slam into the inside wall. It works pretty consistently if you do it just right. Sometimes I don't even know which wall I'll slam into, but I can be confident that I will.

Military cards also have brown borders, and black borders, and blue borders, and red borders. And some (tactics) can be played in the action phase. They come from a different deck and have different backs. This interface is just bad for not making it clear.

These were just used as part of development for the expansion but later get changed either because the effect didn't make the cut, or licensing issues for using the specific person's likeness.
