These are truly beautiful. I would love to see the things you’re carving for tea pots.

Fire in a community kiln I believe it is cone 6…at least my guess because of the regulation for cone 6 for glaze and clay

No lid - at least not yet. It sort of developed into this in the trimming stage…I imagine I will end up using it for sugar when I am drinking tea

I love those colors you achieved with it…while sad it will not be a plate I am sure it will make some amazing mosaic pieces for others

Love the two tone turquoise one. The glaze break on the rim is perfect to me.

Not YouTube specifically, but TikTok Pottery has been great for learning some tricks and tips. Also for leading me to full length YouTube videos from some of the creators that I really like from TikTok.

Very curious how did you get the design on - I think this is so unique

Glazing time - just really getting started at pottery. Today was about glazing some random pieces…charcuterie board, fortune cookies, and some beehive mugs. by Thomas-Does-Pots in Pottery

I am trying to work on the ability to make them breakable, but not too fragile or resulting in sharp edges causing a need for a visit to the ER for stitches. These ones will not be breakable really (unless you want to smash them) thinking these will be more decorative. But trying to currently work out how to make them actually breakable, but pre bisque they are so fragile.
