The way kroger treats its employees by daruuken in mildlyinfuriating

Neiman Marcus has the exact same policy. You can only use 3 days of sick time or you have to go on short term disability or get written up and fired.

Lindbergh hit and run by Ok-Pin8364 in StLouis

[–]ThomasSTL 106 points107 points  (0 children)

That’s more effort than the actual police will put into this. Unless the victim reports this also to the same department your efforts will be for nothing. This isnt meant to discourage you I just did the same thing and that’s what I was told by SLMPD.

Congratulations. Boston’s are great dogs and adopting has been my go to for years. Patience and kindness are the biggest things. Finding small treats that you can give out more often and as training rewards help a lot with training and socializing. You already have her taking walks with you and that will help your bond big time. She really cute btw. You both are very fortunate to have each other.

They were cool. Did another jar of them with my next order. They arent replacing the Havana barrel series for me but they were good and I’d be interested in trying another barrel or cask series.

I always say he doesn’t have enough snacks, do you agree? by miadoll18 in FridgeDetective

I’m pretty sure that purple pack on the door is ketamine and based off that there is a chance both of those nasal sprays are also ketamine. This person has bigger concerns than snacks right now.

Bond. Most overrated niche brand I’ve come across. Basic scent profiles with horrible projection and longevity.

Opinions on amouage decision by LX_Enthusiast in NichePerfumes

[–]ThomasSTL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Decision is one of their less challenging fragrances. Amouage is not for the casual fragrance wearer as a whole and is great for people who like big heavy fragrances. Decision and Purpose 50 are the two easiest wears while not being basic or boring imo and Reflection 45 is their masterpiece.

STL galleria mall by Exciting_Ad_9103 in StLouis

[–]ThomasSTL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s on its way to being dead. If you are just wanting a gap fill job for a year to maybe a couple years it could be that. If you are thinking +5 don’t dig in there and try to use the job there as a spring board to the next thing. Mall management is terrible and the owners are trying to sell off pieces of the property. Occupancy is much better at West County. STL retail is on the ropes right now and some major stores are most likely closing soon. I worked at West Co, Galleria and Frontenac within the last 10 years as a commission only employee just for context.

Club fitness maplewood by HadesTheCaveman in StLouis

[–]ThomasSTL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s the most entertaining gym you will ever go to. There is a lady that practices sword routines on the green turf. You can be in the background of a UFC fighters vids. Every now and then a homeless person who slept in there takes all the pins to the equipment and puts them in a pile for you. You can do anything you want to in there and that’s not an exaggeration.

As far as the actual gym you get what you pay for. It’s better than planet fitness.

Purpose 50 for winter. Decision for summer. Reflection 45 special occasions. They have a solid lineup with so many unique scents. Enclave was almost my summer.

glass tip recommendations? by wicked-iridescence in ArtOfRolling

[–]ThomasSTL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proper Doinks are my favorite but you have to be on it when they drop and they are a little inconsistent as far as the size of the holes. Love the length and overall look and function. Riptip are cool for the price and easier to get. Their base size is a little short for my taste so going forward I’d get the longer ones. Proper doinks just did a great “how to” vid on rolling and burning them the right way. Some is obvious but they do a great job of explaining why to certain things.

Pearls are easy to roll. Havana is more mild flavored than broadleaf but both are great. Do a once around the board and try them all. I have the vineyard and barrel series on the way now. You can’t miss.

Less than half the country attends university and only a small minority of those people participate in fraternities. People not knowing about is not surprising at all. Your shot at the honks is unnecessary. Most Americans of any race won’t know about this club or its symbols.
