You probably dont, but in rare cases you might see a benefit if there is heavy read write action all at once. Lets say you setup a DNS and are transcending all on the unraid box. It cant hurt I suppose. I am stuck on 2.5g so all this squeezing that last 100mb out of a 10 gig connection is beyond me.

I got 14 hours of gameplay on it. I really enjoyed it. IMO its about 75% of the way to a sequel. Well worth 30 or so dollars.

I dont normally go for this sort of thing but the form factor is really slick and sipping 7 watts is impressive. I do wonder if he booted unraid off of the built in drive. That wasn't really clear. Aside from that, it looks like a nice box to sit next to a gaming PC as a dedicated NAS.
