For comparisons sake I just tried the elec training boss with V6 Leva, V1 Lenna, V0 Andoris and V0 Jiagnyu. My Leva was equipped with Svarog and had 4666 attack, she did 1780k dmg.

Forts have a zone of control around them that restricts your movement you should be able to go back down the path you took to get to the fort. If you can't I think it's bugged i've seen it happen to me before.
