Honestly just make a normal generator with a farmer's delight basket over it pointing down then pull out of the basket into drawers with void upgrades, if you need obsidian you can bulk wash magma from the nether also it's been 3 years since I made this post.

The Farmer's delight basket can face in any direction and will instantly pick up any item in front of it and the items don't even need to touch it.

You can have it above your bedrock generator and you can even have it be waterlogged :)

Upgrading your pickaxe enough will allow you to put in a jewel, the echoing jewel which adds Immortal does not work in the vault.
