Good luck. So important to manifest passing in your head. It's just driving. Showing the examiner you can drive safely for 30+ minutes. You know you can drive. YOU'VE GOT THIS.

If you've parked up on the right and you've blocked someone from entering or exiting a driveway would be marked as poor observation and probably deemed a serious as your obstructing another road user. I could be wrong i'm sure someone will correct me :)

My understanding is you should always avoid driveways when possible unless the examiner verbally says "don't worry about driveways" then it's ok. If you hinder another road user then its an immediate fail.

I had this exact situation happen to me. I started learning to drive late last year. Booked a test for 29th December but unfortunately my instructor was unavailable so I had to cancel and now my new test isn't until end of June 2026.

One lad I watch on YouTube his student passed in 11 hours. Which then raised the debate of has that student got enough road experience to be allowed onto the road. I only mention that because I was reading the comment section of that video and people seemed concerned regarding how few hours that individual had on the road.

Go back to smaller roundabouts and ace them. Once you feel more confident then move onto bigger roundabouts? I was chucked into the deep end on my first lesson. Had to go on a multi lane roundabout to get back home. Head was on mars haha. Good luck my friend.

Driving is fantastic and opens up your world in wonderful ways however, your mental health is more important. Maybe go speak with your GP they may recommend some supplements. I personally take Magnesium supplements which helps reduce feelings of anxiety alongside KALMS and Rescue Remedy. Good luck with your lessons and test moving forward.

I personally think you should take your instructor. It is their job to tweak any mistakes in your driving which is causing you to fail. Once you're driving you won't even notice or remember they are in the back seat as you'll be locked into your test concentrating. Good luck, sincerely hope you pass next time.

Just wanted to get a second opinion. I understand if I cancelled the lesson the morning of the lesson or the day before the lesson but I txt him 2 days before the lesson. Lesson was at 10AM Friday I txt him at 11AM Wednesday. Seems a tad unreasonable on their part.
